  1. I completely disagree. (this is despite my hope that Stewart would succeed as I have a few friends in common with him.) Jones, Stewart, Murphy and Polster are not good enough. They would get nowhere near Celtic's team and should in turn be nowhere near ours if we want to challenge.

  2. Irrespective, we need those playing on the surface to be a damn sight better than they were since the winter break just past!

  4. Come on mate. If Tav put in the performances Polster put in he’d rightly be criticised. Polster is nowhere near the level required

  6. As it happens, the Livingston CEO has said that the "2m-price-tag" on Dykes is media made-up rubbish.

  7. Harry McNeil was the older brother of our Founders Moses and Peter. He has the distinction of having played for the Rangers in our first ever game v Callander in May 1872 on Fleshers Haugh. He would play for the Club again during the 1880's and was a member of the Rangers Ancients team, along with the likes of Tom Vallance, who played many exhibition and charitable matches. Harry would go into a business partnership with his brother Peter their H+ P McNeil sports good premises were a feature on both Union Street and Renfield Street Glasgow from the mid 1870's until 1896. Once he'd hung up his boots Harry was to run the Royal Hotel in Bangor County Down. He was still attending Ibrox cheering on his beloved Rangers during the early1920’s, Harry lived long enough to see us from day one on Fleshers Haugh, into Ibrox and Rangers playing in front of huge attendances. Harry McNeil passed in 1924. In 2015 our research led us to Harry’s Great Grandchildren Ann Law and Archie Stewart and sadly his unmarked grave in Rutherglen Cemetery, Also buried there are Harry’s Brother in Law Andrew Park and his daughter Annie Robertson McNeil Scott. The Club by way of supporting our Restoration of Rangers Graves Project agreed to purchase a stone for Harry McNeil’s final resting place, this was put in place at a dedication service in 2016. Ann and Archie were guests of the Club at Ibrox and both remain good friends of the Founders Project.

  8. We need a centre half who can read situations who can command the box tell his team mates off when they dither, we need a half back who's as hard as steel a player who will rattle opposing players to the bone ,we need a player up front who can create space for himself and swoop on any half chances, and a winger who can cross a ball ,get that done and we might pose a challenge.

  9. It's all about opinions, but I am a Tav fan, he is our most creative player consistently, he is very rarely injured and bombs up and down the right flank all game every game and is by far the best RB in Scotland. Very skillful & and very strong on the ball.

  10. Tav is a modern full back that pulls his weight with goals and assists , his numbers show that , he is right up there . we did not lose the league because of goals lost , we lost the league because we simply cannot compete with Celtic with goals from midfield , they completely out gun us season after season , it’s not rocket science , and to come back to the same guy time after time is just boring and pedantic . We need to have a team that can score from all over the park , we rely on Alfie , when he stopped producing after Xmas , season over , end off .
