So on top of buying a real season ticket for games I will not be able to gain access to watch, I need to buy a virtual season ticket as well if I want to see our behind closed doors games? Do Rangers get to keep all the money from the Virtual Season ticket or is it going to be dispersed via the SPFL/Sky? Do we get to have our own commentators, or will Sky provide two anti-Rangers scumbags to tell us how Morelos should be sent off this week? If, for example, crowds are allowed back inside in January 2021, are they going to show our home games live through the virtual ST when they want 50K fans to attend in person? What about our away games, are they covered by this virtual ST or do we have to buy our opponents coverage? If Sky are showing the game, do we need a virtual ST or just a Sky subscription? So many questions, so few answers.4 points

I see it reported that finishing the season early has cost the SPFL £7.5 MILLION. A small price to pay to ensure Peter got his way and his rancid club got their tainted title I am sure all the clubs can agree. It is almost being spun as a victory that this is getting taken off our Sky money over the next 5 years and we dont need to pay it back immediately. Oh what an achievement. I wonder if BT Sport will be as forgiving given that they do not now have a contract to take the broken contract from. Look out for a big bill from them hitting Hampden soon and probably being swept under the carpet so as to not give any credibility to our claim in our report that finishing early would cost up to £10M in repaying tv contracts, which now looks absolutely bang on the button. I await our club coming out with a massive I told you so later today.3 points

That's a neat way to describe the going-ons in Scotland since March. May I be the first to congratulate Scotland for being the first country to reach the Fourth World Status?!2 points

First thing I noticed too.... The SPFL, a members organization supposedly looking after ALL 42 members... decides to issue a press release talking, basically, about ONE member.... they don't even hide it anymore2 points

I note Ewing's interview with Roger has been picked up by the Times. The Thunderer includes more quotes from 'the Don' and quelle surprise, Roger thinks Rangers case against the SPFL's maladministration was thwarted by Rangers supporters : "Mitchell, who was in charge of the elite division between 1998 and 2002, believes Rangers could have prevailed but he believes the behaviour of some of their supporters during the dispute was unacceptable. If Rangers had delivered their case for an independent investigation properly, they would have had a compelling argument to make. However, I personally know there are SPFL Board members who cannot wait for the minute they are allowed to step down because they have gone through hell in the last few weeks and months". You may notice the utilisation of the user name, 'the Don'? This is germane to Roger's next quote, "Fans and media sometimes underestimate the consequences of stoking up a story. Are you surprised? Spend half an hour on supporters' websites and you'll see how bad the situation is. People ramp up the flames because it sells newspapers and gets radio audiences". One of the most strident posters on both the Rangers Tax Case Blog and Charlotte Fakes was, 'The Don'. Clearly, an insider with a lot of inside knowledge. Any and every glowing ember received a gallon of petrol courtesy of the Don. Most contributors believed the Don was dearest Roger, and he has never denied it. Ironic, isn't it?2 points

So I have to buy two ST’s now......a Rangers one plus a SPFL ‘virtual’ one ? The first one i do as a matter of course. The second one the SPFL can go f**k themselves...2 points

All Davis was doing in the last few games was playing 10 yards passes. No influence whatsoever. A player winding down his career if ever I saw one.2 points

Agreed, not denying the fact we blew it and agree with what you are saying, just feel we will need a lot of luck and Separate Entity FC to drop a good few points, I don't see that happening. On Kamberi I would like to see him sign, good squad player1 point

I agree the Scottish football set up is skewed but it wasn't corruption that beat us at Tynecastle (twice) or lost a late goal at home to Hamilton.1 point

While there is a lot of great news, I am still very disappointed in Rangers letting go of the corrupt voting fiasco! another missed opportunity to bring the corrupt cabal down IMO.1 point

Well well the SPFL first to PAY a broadcaster to let them have the rights to show games this is Scotland1 point

Aberdeen have stated that the virtual ST will be free to all ST holders for all behind closed doors games so I’d imagine we’ll follow suit...1 point

The SPFL have basically passed the liability on to the fans, that’s if they’re prepared to pay for this virtual ST. I’d hope that Rangers would be offering this free of charge but I wouldn’t be surprised if the don’t.1 point

I hope not. There have been quite enough statements recently. Actions speak louder than words but unfortunately Rangers are all mouth and no trousers these days.1 point

We should never have extended his contract.1 point

Any links to possible signings from the Scottish gutter press is pure guesswork, lies!!, made up shite. As Stevie(4lads) has already confirmed the Scottish gutter press are getting nothing from any Rangers business, the way it should be.1 point

Another vignette of vileness from today's Times: Jock Stein signed autographs for Jim Torbett after sacking Marc Horne Monday June 01 2020, 12.01am, The Times https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/jock-stein-signed-autographs-for-jim-torbett-after-sacking-m739flccx Jock Stein signed autographs at a business run by Jim Torbett a decade after he kicked him out of Celtic Boys Club for molesting boys. The football manager granted permission for Torbett to start the feeder club in 1966, but dismissed him eight years later after hearing about allegations of abuse. However, in March 1984 The Glasgow Evening Times reported that Stein, manager of Scotland at the time, would be making a “personal appearance” at a branch of Torbett’s Trophy Centre on Kilmarnock Road in Glasgow. Kevin Kelly, the Celtic FC chairman between 1991 and 1994, was a director of the Trophy Centre from 1989 until 2005, long after Torbett was first convicted and jailed. Mr Kelly and Jack McGinn, another former Celtic FC chairman who was also employed at the Trophy Centre, both strongly deny having any previous knowledge of Torbett’s offending. Gerald King, a former Celtic Boys Club chairman who was convicted of abusing children in 2018, also had a job at the centre. Celtic FC had a long-term deal with the firm, reported to be worth £250,000 a year, which did not end until 2002. At that time the club said: “Celtic had a long-term contractual obligation with the Trophy Centre. This has now lapsed.” Torbett resigned as director of the centre in 2000 but it is not known when he left his position with Celtic FC’s retail arm. In 2018 the High Court in Glasgow heard that one of his victims, now aged 37, was abused at Trophy Centre premises in the Pollokshaws area of the city.1 point

The way players play aggressively against us will not be allowed to play that aggressive for us though! we have seen that for a few seasons now. I just can't see who Fergusson will replace in our midfield??. I'd much rather bleed our youth players, unless we buy the accomplished player which he isn't then it would be a waste of cash, IMO.1 point
