Actually, just checked the BBC`s website and guess what, in links and topic they actually managed to twist it against Rangers ... if you only read them and not the article: https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/52217121 So it is not US asking for money, but US asking to hand the money to struggling clubs.

It looks like the SPFL has made their mind up to terminate the season and award titles to the current leaders but they are hiding behind the UEFA angle to defer their decision until the lowere leagues are dealt with through the rule change and then a precedent will be set and it will be argued that it would be unreasonable to treat the lower leagues any differentlt to the Premiership. If there was true leadership, they would at least state their preferred option for the Premiership, subject to UEFA agreement. Restructuring to accommodate Hearts looks like the carve up that it is.

I don’t get the “ they have contracts “ point , the vast majority of people on furlough have contracts , as a club that has been where we have been due to poor management and also as a club that runs currently at a loss , the health if the club should be paramount . Asking millionaires to take a cut fir a few months is not in my book a major ask , where will this leave us in our journey if the rebuilding of the squad has to be scaled back even for 6 months . I could be totally wrong in this but I just don’t get it .
