  1. As usual the story has been sensationalised for clicks The truth is he is investing, part of the share issue as we were told He isn’t investing £20m and he isn’t buying out King etc He is a new investor, it is new money and it is good news but the rest is sensational bullshit The share issue will be announced very soon, best to wait until then because stories of new ‘sugar daddy’s’ and spin is completely unfair on everyone in the support

  2. I genuinely don't believe they can relegate Hearts any more than crown Celtic winners on the matches still to be played. This is unprecedented circumstance and is unlikely ever to be repeated and there should be no winners or losers. I should have added as fans we did not pay for our season tickets to have to accept being shafted by the authorities. I would hope the club would be making their and our feelings known. We should not be rolling over and handing them a title without winning it.

  3. I didn't realise Rangers had contracted the DUP to act for us. As far as I can see he wears a Rangers shirt, not a DUP tie, and has renounced his political position. I never fails to amaze me how willing we are to allow the media to dictate the tone of what we think about this or anything else. Let's not be like the media goons who try to exploit us.

  4. Daily Record reporting that the Asian based businessman will be completing a deal over the new few weeks to become one of (or the) largest shareholder in the club. Unclear whether he or someone of his choice will then become chairman when Dave King steps down imminently. 7. The worrying thing in this respect is it may not now be possible for Mr Robertson to show strength if those he has to contend with have already concluded that he's an easy touch.

  9. Just a quick post to shut down the stories about Alfie being over weight and carrying a bit of timber , well he just came into the gym I use on the Southside , not far from Ibrox and a short walk from where he stays . This boy is ripped and is carrying no excess body fat .

  10. no one has the guts just to declare the season over if it keeps getting worse then maybe the government will make that decision for them .

  11. Appointing someone with this background suggests to me this is a war footing. It signals no attempt is being made to speak to anyone but our own support, and even then perhaps not all of them. I suspect that will be popular with a number of vocal and influential supporters. With a share offer mooted it probably makes sense to to keep the support largely onside and encourage a siege mentality. For me though this smacks of short-termism and will not address the very real PR issues we have as a club.

  12. Dunno, but here was me thinking that neither "King" is the owner nor Gibson will be the "new owner". Any bankrolling would have to follow certain guidelines ... and we obviously have to double-check on UEFA`s financial fair play stuff too.

  13. Murray changed it to Elior but a new contract was signed with them under Green IIRC.

  14. This is worrying and should alarm every concerned Rangers fan. I mean, he's clearly got the money, he's a lifelong Rangers man, he's got the corporate experience ....... but Paisley? ?

  15. Ah yes, the DUP, they're just PR masters. I'm disappointed at the direction we're clearly going in.

  16. I don't think that there are any other former D.U.P. councilors working at Ibrox. As such we can be sure that his appointment will already have increased diversity.

  17. Good appointment. I have never heard of him but it's certain he'll annoy the people I like to see annoyed. ??

  18. How can this season resume in August? Players whose contracts finish at the end of this season will have left their clubs by then. Smaller clubs which have large turnovers of players might not be able to complete their fixtures due to not having sufficient players. And would clubs new signings be able to play for their new clubs to finish the old season? A farce awaits...
