  1. He left for Chelsea. Maybe we should all deal with that fact, and move on.

  3. A change to 3-5-2 would be pretty drastic and only something like that could rejuvenate our season like the change to the 4-3-2-1 did last season. We simply can't keep playing the current formation or the current formation with tweaks, the players have lost confidence in it like they had with the 4-3-3 last season.

  4. I can't stand Sweet Caroline. Tunes I think we could adopt are things like Home On The Range and Marching Through Georgia. ?

  5. It's on BT Sport and that won't change. In my experience, most females avoid their men when the football's on (understandably, in my case).

  8. Was at the game yesterday and saw Gilmour at close quarters. His main ability is his quick feet and passing accuracy. He is able to turn quickly where larger opponents are left flat footed and unable to react. I can see him emerging into a Paul Scholes type player that is box to box and will add goals to his game as he matures and becomes more confident in being part of the 1st team. If i was Scotland boss i'd build the team around him, as you say there isnt another as good as him in the Scottish squad.

  10. Nothing to do with this site, but thought I'd bring it to everyone's attention. "Weʼre raising £20,000 to Bring justice & peace to victims of sex abuse in Scottish Football. We ask football fans to donate less than the cost of a half pint of beer" https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/justice-for-victims-of-sex-abuse-in-scottish-football?utm_id=66&utm_term=ZkbX22Rny

  11. As long as no one connected with the Scotland team actually tries to coach him.

  12. Actually, it is difficult to see beyond Birmingham City's anthem: Keep Right on to the End of the Road. In days of yore, this was sung slowly, but over the years, the pace increased, robbing it of much of its power.

  13. He would have struggled to even have made the bench for us, that is how little we trust the youngsters. I watched the full game yesterday - the lad was oozing class, without doing anything overly exciting. Great first touch, composed, looks to play vertical forward passes, excellent decision-making. Started as the pivot and dictated play until Mount had to go off - they brought Reece James on who went pivot and Gilmour went and played the "10" and did so very well again. When players like Giroud, Azpilicueta, Alonso, Pedro are looking to give you the ball to dictate play you know you have a player on your hands. His MOTM was very worthy. 93% passing accuracy would sound good if you had 10 touches of the ball.... but Gilmour had more touches than any other player on the pitch, more touches in the opposition half too. Should be an absolute stick-on for Scotland in the qualifiers because there is no other Scottish midfielder as good as him, regardless of him being only 18.

  14. I feel sorry for Jack because he has been hampered by injury since our season turned around. Even when he has played I don't think he's been 100% and the fact he's had a re-occurrence of it maybe confirms that. I think @Bill has been proved right in highlighting his importance to the side for a long time.

  15. Having missed a lot of games recently, wtf is going on with Morelos? In the few games I've seen him play since the break, he looks overweight and disinterested. Has he improved at all?

  17. Due to some personal stuff and a heavy workload, I've fortunately not been able to witness too many of our recent games (apart from Braga away). I've not even looked at the table in ages tbh but I was somewhat surprised to see that we are 13 pts behind with a game in hand (potentially 10 pts). If we manage to beat them next week it's down to a possible 7pts and we still have to play them (potentially 4pts). As I said, I've been out of loop and fully expected a larger gap (prior to the OF games). Ok I'm clutching a big, big straws but on paper we still have the chance to get this down to 4pts. How is that even possible considering the amount of points we have dropped?

  20. I hope you’re right but I doubt it. A generation of Scots has brain washed themselves into not being able to vote Conservative.
