And then those fucking arseholes (I'm not apologizing for the tone either) such as Sutton, Hartson and Michael Stewart will sit on their high horse and say this shouldn't happen. Those same cretins who effectively encourage it with their racist, xenophobic bile on a constant basis.11 points

Come on. Let's calm down for goodness sake. If we are relying on Morelos to enable us to beat Ross County at home then we may as well say adios to our league chances. Defoe is a top class striker. Just make sure what's happening behind him facilitates his talents as the service to him over the last few games has been criminal. To me, that's a bigger concern than whether Defoe or Morelos are starting.5 points

It's a bit of an over-reaction to suggest that the team has a mental problem. We've played 21 league games and lost twice and drawn twice and are sill in Europe. That league form was only matched once during the 9IAR run (in 96-97). We had poorer league form in the other 8 seasons. Are you suggesting that the teams in these other 8 seasons also had mental problems? Bad performances happen every season. We lose the odd game unexpectedly. It happens every year. It doesn't reflect on the mentality of a team.4 points

I felt we needed another striker anyway. Defoe’s injury guarantees we need to make something happen now3 points

I've lived in Glasgow most of my life and I'm stunned by this. If this is true and it doesn't turn out to be some sort theft or petty vandalism then we've really turned a corner into a very dark place. I genuinely hope it turns out to be someone trying to steal his car because the alternative I'm struggling to comprehend.2 points

From what's been posted on twitter, it appears that Elite can pay us the cash due for this season. I'm not sure if impacts anything in the future, but only limited pages have been tweeted.2 points

I would separate that mindset of being disappointed with the prospect of Morelos being out with how we deal with playing Ross County. Absolutely we have the players to beat County even without several other first picks. But that doesn't detract from the way we have played in the last 3 games and why many will see the return of Alfy as a way to spark a bit of form.2 points

I think Tav is one of the most underrated player ever to play for Rangers! Polster has done well but he is not better than Tav by a long way1 point

Agree with what you say Ian. I hope he returns ASAP. No worries in the right back position with Polster though.1 point

Apologies if this has been posted already? Thought it was quite interesting. Can imagine our social media profiles will double overnight? https://rangers.co.uk/news/women/rangers-sign-indian-international-bala-devi/ Please feel free to add this to the appropriate board1 point

Wondering if there's any connection between his calf injury and this incident ?1 point

Apparently a Rangers spokesman has said "We believe there was an incident but we can’t say any more as it’s now subject to a police investigation."1 point

Fair points but I feel our failings over the last few games have been more about the effectiveness of our midfield and wide players as opposed to the merits of our strikers. Alfie undoubtedly offers something different to Defoe. No one is disputing that but the last three games are history. Let's not dwell on it and move forward with 3 pts tonight. Regardless of the personel?1 point

Bugger. We really need him playing tonight. It will give the crowd a lift, if nothing else.1 point

He also occupies BOTH centre halves by himself, which effectively makes him almost like an extra player on the pitch1 point

Personally don't think that makes a blind bit of difference because McGregor is giving them pelters with or without an armband.1 point

A major concern for me is this is very similar to last season. Beat the scum at the New Year, have the Winter break and then come back lacking guile, passion and anything resembling a title winning team. Why has it happened again?1 point
