I return to this thread as I think it only fair to point out that the side has indeed responded positively to last weekend's defeat. I was concerned about our mentality but for most the Young Boys match and again against Motherwell, a match that had potential to be tricky for us, we were composed, controlled and energetic, our big players stepped back up and we did what we needed to do in both matches. Well done. I'm delighted to be proved wrong on this, absolutely delighted.5 points

I found the draw frustrating. Sixteen ties a constant resetting of the balls and we're the last tie to be pulled. It killed the suspense because when we at last got pulled I knew Braga were the only bloody team left.2 points

Decent draw and it's great to have European football into the New Year.2 points

Agreed Whilst I thought bouncing back against YB was more to do with mentality, I thought yesterday at Motherwell was more a physical test. It certainly bodes well for the future that we passed them both.2 points

I think we all know that answer to that question.... She will reappear just when it's likely to hurt us most. We need to be careful with Hibs and Killie and not give them any ammunition. You bet they will want any excuse for our players to be suspended ahead of the next OF game at the Piggery.2 points

I hope you'll agree that this is relevant to post here, because the government today fired a shot across the bow of the BBC due to its bias. We don't want to get in to a political debate here, but there's no doubt that this government's direction of travel is to remove the licence fee. At the very least they've 'suggested' that no one should be taken to court over not paying it. Isn't that a clear signal that you can choose not to pay without consequence? I believe this could be the end of the BBC as we know it. It might continue to be biased after this, but ta least we are not paying for it. And I'd also imagine this means that organisations like BBC Sport Scotland then have to cater for a wider audience if they want to survive. I wonder if that would change their behaviour or if they would rather die in a ditch rather than giving Rangers a fair and balanced coverage. The end of the road for the BBC and their clique? I really hope so.1 point

Looks to me exactly what UEFA have wanted for years. All Spanish and English teams there along with representatives from the other big leagues in Germany, Italy and France. Exactly as planned, keep throwing money at them and the also rans will be filtered out in time. No upstarts like Ajax from wee countries in the mix.1 point

Can´t really comment on Walker as I only very occasionally have to listen to him.1 point

Although not BBC - I'd thought that of Andy Walker on occasions this season. Almost like he'd been biting his tongue from the first whistle. Mind you, he never once managed the full game, and his performance for the Motherwell game was as bad and biased as anything i'd heard, including Sutton.1 point

Question for @26th of foot if I may... In recent weeks, I´ve picked up on what I think is a slight change in PQ output when it comes to us. It´s not a fair balance, but an attempt to take the sneering/hate out of the voice when expressing their bias. I´d cite Big Dick as the main exponent of this modified approach. Is there anything in this or is it my imagination ?1 point

Morelos often winds up opposition fans when he sores. The manager should have stopped it long before now. This needs to be the last time.1 point

We have a decent record against Portuguese teams in contrast to a pretty awful record against their Iberian neighbours, the Spanish. So I´ll take Braga please... As most are saying, it´s great to be in the draw and I think we´ll be competitive against anyone.1 point

Was very encouraging to see our energy levels and hunger to win the game that was greater than that of Motherwell. An excellent 3 points from a potential banana skin. I said prior to KO that Katic was a bigger goal threat than our midfield and wide players. On Friday, we´ll be without Morelos and we´ll have to find goals from somewhere. It´s asking a lot for Defoe to come in from the cold and do the business at Easter Road but hopefully he can contribute. Very frustrating to see Morelos lay it on a plate for the referee. If he hadn´t already had a yellow card then it´s just one of those things, you pick up a yellow and move on but to do it when you have already been booked is to self-harm.1 point

I’ve said it before and I will keep repeating myself , until our board grow a set of balls these double standards will continue . What more needs to happen , from players getting assaulted ( Wallace cup final ) etc etc etc ................ Grow a set of Balls .1 point

The 'up the Ra' comments are far, far worse than the H*n or Orange b*stard ones. These people are publicly supporting a proscribed (anti-British) terrorist group. Treasonous behaviour.1 point
