Good to get our money back on Grezda, I agree with SG there is a talent there, sometimes it’s just not the right fit between player and club. Good luck to him in France.4 points

If it were to happen surely this would be time to right the wrong of disabled fans.3 points

He should've been sacked for having his photograph taken with Humza.3 points

Not going to happen any time soon IMO. If we are going to do it, then do it properly.3 points

FT 4-0. A fair old humping. Is it a general club policy to tell players not to shoot until we've played over 10 passes!?2 points

FRENCH CONNECTION Rangers flop Eros Grezda on his way to France to complete Brest transfer Mark Walker 27 Jul 2019, 11:23 Updated: 27 Jul 2019, 11:24 RANGERS flop Eros Grezda is on his way to France to complete a £1.75m transfer to French newly promoted club Brest. The Albanian winger has struggled to adapt since his £2million move from Croatian side Osijek last summer and was frozen out. Manager Steven Gerrard told the 24-year-old he could leave Ibrox as he wasn't part of his plans. And ambitious side Brest have beaten rivals Dijon to sign the winger, who has been offered a four-year deal with the side who won promotion to Ligue 1 by finishing runners-up in the second tier of French football last term. Rangers boss Gerrard said this week: "I think he has found the whole game here and demands here tough. There is still a talent there. "I have no doubt he can go to a league, a team and a manager that might suit his style and be a success." Grezda is set to travel to France to undergo his medical with Brest this weekend and become the latest unwanted Rangers star to leave the club, following the departure of fellow winger Daniel Candeias to Turkey earlier this week. He started just seven league games for Gerrard's side and netted twice - a brace against Motherwell in a 7-1 romp in November. + + + ... I wouldn`t say Candeias was an unwanted player, but freedom of the press is of course a wonderful thing.2 points

Damn right it is. One game played and already equalled the entire home points total of last season. ?1 point

I think a lot of our older under 18's were playing for the Development game. These were obviously much younger than MU. I remember taking a first year under 16 team to a tournament. There was I with all these young small kids and we had to play a team made up fully of Turks. they walked on to the park some with full grown beards. They looked like 25 year olds to me. We lost through strength but I was pleased as technically we were by far the better team. That game reminded me of that.1 point

Grezda was injured when he signed & never really got a run in the team. Probably best he moves on if he isn’t in the manager’s plans1 point

Agree with this, it is a perfect opportunity for the club to address this.1 point

Fans forums have become an echo chamber on Grezda, it’s accepted as fact that he can hardly play football. Good player, bad attitude and very bad luck. Not surprised we got decent money for him and I think he’ll go on to have a good career.1 point

What would you call the millions on zero phours contract if not part of the proletariat?? Millions in call centres and offices with little or very few tangible rights for fear of losing their jobs? Then there are those who must work for the ghost of Jabba the hut! They are like the slaves from the dark empire.1 point

Like others, if we are at the stage to discuss this, even before the consultation reports are finished, then it should be on Rangers tv or our own website first and exclusively. For Stewart Robertson to give an interview to the Rhebel shows utter contempt for the feelings of the fans. In my opinion, a sacking offence.1 point

Well, according to reports in Scotland, Morelos was watched by Milan. According to reports in France ... REPORTS: MILAN SET TO SIGN LEÃO FOR €35M FROM LILLE, THE STRIKER IS EXPECTED TO HAVE HIS MEDICAL IN THE NEXT DAYS https://www.rossoneriblog.com/2019/07/26/reports-milan-set-to-sign-leao-for-e35m-from-lille-the-striker-is-expected-to-have-his-medical-in-the-next-days/ ... which might not prevent any bids for Alfredo, though I reckon we'll stand firm with our 20m evaluation.1 point

The Motion is signed by two good Irishmen. Scottish Tories, where are you?1 point

To build out from the back, that's where Jack should be. IMO. I thought Tavernier was ineffective in his end-product, but not in his positioning; he was isolated, one-on-one, against that left-back time and time again, which is what we should be doing, IMO. I do agree that Jack can move further forward to aid in the attack and ball-recycling -- that was arguably our biggest success last night, at least in the first half: Aribo, Jack and Davis occupying the half-space to aid control, ball-recovery and keeping the pressure on; while also getting into dangerous areas.1 point

We could swap Tav's goals and assists for someone who is more defensive minded but attacking wise is non existent. His assist record alone is irreplaceable. When was the last time we had a player who had 20 assists, let alone a defender?1 point

I have no interest in my fellow Rangers fans views on anything other than Rangers, I wouldn't expect them to have the same political and cultural opinions that I do, in the same way I wouldn't expect them to agree with my ideas of team selection, tactics, signings etc. We are a broad church, I really couldn't give a flying fuck whether you're Female, Black, Gay, Greek Orthodox, whatever, all are welcome in my eyes. There are other sporting institutions where the fans are expected to have certain narrow views, lets not be that club.1 point

For what it's worth, I actually enjoyed his article. I don't agree with all of it, but it was entertaining and in my opinion largely correct.1 point

I sympathise with your point of view because the criticism of Candeias was way over the top through the season, especially when all his goal-creating stats were above Kent across the board who wasn't criticised. However in my opinion we lost the league in games where we were found out for lacking creativity/end product when it really mattered. Losses to Livingston, Aberdeen and Kilmarnock and draws to Aberdeen, Kilmarnock, Dundee, Hibs (twice) and St Johnstone. Those games were worth 21 points. We scored 7 goals in those 9 games. Those games don't include the final game of the season loss to Kilmarnock, the 3-3 draw to Motherwell and both losses to Celtic. You could add a few cup games to it though. Just my opinion but I felt we were pretty much fine in defence and midfield last season but the players tasked with creating goals just weren't good enough to turn more of those draws into wins and even losses into draws/wins. Celtic had the same very tough games against packed defences but found a winner time and time again. My takeaway was that we needed to find players better than both Kent and Candeias for our starting 11 this season and that we needed adequate cover for when Arfield is unavailable who is one of our most important players.1 point
