  1. Eh sorry Tom, deflecting won’t work this time. Your sewer of a club are up to their disgraceful neck in the stench of child abuse and cover up, and this is only the start. Focus on what’s really important rather than naughty songs.

  2. Did a song at a football match ever actually hurt a single person....EVER? Because the paedo ring at Separate Entity FC ruined quite a few lives and resulted in at least one suicide. And has Tom English ever paid to get into a Scottish football match?

  3. Kamara, Tavernier and Morelos. All going for a combined 30 mill (possibly). Who would take it ? Tough one for me - we need funds but, at the same time, those 3 could very well be the spine of our team to win the league next season. of the 3 the one I’d be most willing to let go would be Morelos. I think he would be easier to replace than the other 2. Tav offers so much going forward and would be very difficult to replace. Kamara is such a cultured player I could see him as a mainstay. He’s also young so there’s plenty of room for improvement which also means increased value.

  4. Things like this make me proud of my club. There's a market out there which we should tap into, but it's also a country desperate for organisations like our club to take an interest in its young people. Well done Rangers!

  5. I'm a bit the same regarding Jones & if Stewart signs? both are underwhelming at first sight, Kamara has looked the part since signing so fingers crossed, more than happy to be proven wrong with both players

  8. SG's signing record has been decent but there have been flops.

  9. What remains incredible about the Celtic Boys Club abuse scandal is that this story has been sitting there for years but no prominent journalists or media outlets seemed to want to investigate it fully.

  11. Laudrup was a major factor in Denmark winning the Euros. That alone makes him world class in my book.

  12. Nice to see this thread has went to shit

  13. Laudrup was a joy to watch in a Rangers shirt. When you look at our squads these past few years, the days of Laudrup and Gazza seem like a very distant memory.

  15. Explain to me how Matt Polster could possibly be "proven to SG" ? Maybe if you hadn't used Laudrup and Gascoigne YOU would have a point. It's tiring you defending players and their worthiness based on the fact that "SG signed him" - you are almost making it out that SG is infallible in the transfer market - and that also is clearly untrue.

  16. Whatever they are, Buster, they are not victims of circumstance.

  17. I think Tavernier would have had 20-30% more assists this season if we’d played 4-3-2-1 all season. The space and opportunity to get forward he had was amazing. Imo that formation simply wouldn’t work without a Tavernier style player there like Flanagan. Although I think as a club we need to be cashing in on players to build for the future our chances of winning the title would take a huge blow if he leaves.

  18. I think what his piece does is place Lawwell and Lennon in the role of victims, of circumstance. I think not; I think that "they knew". It also endeavours to separate "Bad Celtic" from "Good and Glorious Celtic", a bit like the club(s) did by renaming the Boys' Club. A full investigation with full statutory powers is necessary, cross border if required. This is not in Celtic's gift, nor should the club be able to cherry pick aspects of its nature, extent, or purpose. Principally, the club requires to apologise to its victims, to say it is truly sorry, and to demonstrate remorse. It must offer recompense. If, as seems likely, an investigation reveals a cover up, the club must apologise to society at large, for concealing crimes. Anybody involved in conspiring to hide its hideous offences against children should be prosecuted. If, after a full, rigorous Inquiry, the club is found guilty of, say, abuse and its concealment, whether willful or negligent, or worse, it must be sanctioned.

  19. You've chosen an odd hill to die on dB. Comparing Polster to Gazza or Laudrup is just bizarre. Polster has played 3 seasons with struggling MLS side and has one US cap, a friendly against Bosnia. Gascoigne was one of the most high profile players in the world when he joined Rangers, a first choice internationalist who's played and starred in top flight football in England and Italy. Laudrup was also joining from Serie A, having previously starred in the Bundesliga, he was also a first choice international and had played in the winning European Champions team. Weir was an experienced player who'd worked with Smith successfully and was seen as a short term stop gap. Polster, on the other hand, is the very definition of 'unproven'. He might turn into a Kamara or a Goldson or he might be a Grezda or an Ojaria. He's unproven, so we'll just have to see.

  20. Re. Tav and transfer value. Look at it from another angle. How much is winning the title worth ? or How much will not winning the title cost ? I think he is the player whose on-field value to us, is way ahead of any other and given circumstances, we desperately need to try and keep a hold of him. If he himself wants to go, then it casts a different light upon things and for the right fee, he goes. We need players who want to be here, a squad all pulling in the same direction.

  21. Polster is an unknown and Flanagan has nowhere near the footballing ability Tav has.

  24. Agreed. The SNP are complicit in the paedophilia cover-up that's been going on by refusing the demands for a public enquiry or even refusing meetings with victims and their families. Shameful.

  25. Its absolutely no surprise that the Memorial Walls own solicitors think they have a case to be answered. In fact, I'd be shocked if they didn't jump on the chance to pump them for billable hours. But as I say, it all sounds very odd based on the article above. More information is needed because at this point it seems like a tactic to get us to settle - i.e. we will go to the press again if you don't give us the work
