  1. Yes but lost form and got only two in his third game.

  2. We should keep Morelos for another season, unless an offer comes in we can't turn down!. He is still potentially a top class striker, he will learn from SG & the management and become even better, Morelos terrifies the opposition just now and that is why he is the target for opposing players/managers/media. He has to learn to put up with being targeted in Scottish football, which is being allowed to happen by the poor officials, egged on by the Rangers hating bias Scottish gutter press and accepted by Scottish football as a whole. He is still an asset as a player and some Rangers fans are buying into the ''he's a nutter'' being put across by everyone, we don't need to sell him. IMO.

  3. 32Red exclusive - club legends Mark Hateley, Richard Gough and Derek Johnstone explain why Rangers FC means so much.

  4. Some people don't seem to see the good things he does. He was man of the match most weeks.

  5. We won't get close to 20M for Morelos this summer. By extending his contract, we put ourselves in a better negotiating position and opened up more the possibility of keeping him for next season. However, since then, the discipline issue has become more acute and I think the manager is one or two similar type sendings off from saying 'no more'. IMO it's now best for all concerned that he moves as early as possible this summer and unfortunately that would probably cost us somewhat re. transfer fee..... But if he stays and things go sour, it could end up costing us more. Some will say it could go the other way and it's possible but I don't think Scotland (certain things about it) and Alfredo are suited.

  6. I am absolutely certain Morelos will not go to France. Either Spain or England would be my bet, and for not a penny less than £20M, not France which is such an uncompetitive league with PSG (having lost 3 out of its last 5 games and still 16 clear at the top) the only show in town. I dont like the tone of that Ibroxnoise article either, calling this a circus and a soap opera. Its hardly anything of the sort, just a prize asset attracting some attention like is happening at many clubs around Europe at this time of year.

  7. Easter Rd for me also, didn't make the match but remember the live tv broadcast of the last few minutes and then the celebrations afterwards.

  8. The opposition matters here too. Celtic have an answer to Morelos's physicality in Ajer. Long balls and physical duals are his bread and butter, he's the most physical centre back in the league and has the best stats in those areas. However put Defoe up against Ajer and I think you'll expose weaker parts of his game.

  9. Feared, anxious ... and all these other words the football media fling about. I would assume Mr. Gerrard knows none of them.

  10. Easter Road. Fitting place for the great man to score such an important goal for Rangers because he had been one of the trinity of great Hibs centre forwards, Lawrie Reilly, Joe Baker and Colin Colin Colin Stein.

  11. A starting line hatrick for Alfie for me.

  12. Chelsea limp over the line but how can Arsenal play so well away to Napoli and Valencia yet be so poor in the league. Cracking final though but silly location. No direct flights for fans apart from 3 days before the final and only 6000 tickets for each club in a 68700 capacity stadium.

  13. Champions League ? Load of shite. last time Liverpool won their own domestic league was 29 years ago. last time Spurs won it... 58 years ago. yet they contest the “Champions” League final.... load of shite. Ahax make the semi final before being eliminated... and now have to go through qualifiers again next season... whilst the FOURTH placed team in Bundesliga are given automatic entry into the group stages. a load of shite, that’s what it is.

  14. Even on the cameo yesterday you can tell how Morelos changes the way we play. He's more selfish than Defoe IMO and tends to make a lot of wrong decisions on the ball. Defoe is more of a team player for me and that has been shown in our recent unbeaten run

  15. Morelos isn't the best player in the country by any size of mile. He may be the best striker but it's of little value if he can't be trusted to stay on the park long enough to prove it. The point about Gerrard is twofold. Firstly, I want to see he's in charge and not simply bending to popular opinion - right now he needs to demonstrate to Morelos that his inability to control his behaviour on the park has real consequences and that means sitting on the bench. Secondly, I want to see Gerrard put the team before the player, a team that has been performing consistently well in the league for perhaps the first time this season. I want to believe Gerrard can manage a player like Morelos.
