Strict liability is a complete joke. It serves neither justice nor prevention. If the courts would do THEIR job there might actually be some deterrence4 points

Ah! I understand now, the Hibs fan missed Tav so it is not assaulted or attacked! silly me4 points

I said to my dad at half-time, on Friday, that we seem allergic to shooting at times. We seem to keep passing it even when there's a shot on.4 points

Have to say the formation and set-up looked very effective last night. It’s just a shame the players lacked the quality to kill off the game.4 points

If you really think it is humiliating then I think you need to get a grip. We also went 4 rounds further than Caixinha in Europe. The league points total is not a measure of success in itself. It's only relevant when considered within the context of our league position. If you compare the league tables between this season and last it is a mixed bag of results. Ultimately it won't be good enough until we are either in a real title race at the end of the season or strolling it. To characterise it as humiliating is nonsense though.2 points

The guy hits Tav on the back of the neck before he goes anywhere near the ball. It was an unprovoked and cowardly assault from behind.2 points

Just because a jakey Leith tramp is unable to throw a successful punch, doesn't mean the intent wasn't there.2 points

To be honest he didn't really attack Tavernier in the sense of committing grievous bodily harm. That doesn't excuse the idiot though.2 points

Charles, with your petition you’ve got a big choir singing a great anthem but only the choristers are there to listen. When you reckon you’ve got as many signatures as you’re going to get, email the Standards, Procedures and Public Appointments Committee at the SP, summarise Dornan’s blatant behaviour and tell them you’ve got whatever number of online backing. Issue a press release. Get a decent journo if you can find one to help with the wording because they know what people will read. Keep control of it yourself, though. Better still, stand in his constituency at the next election. I’d have to move house but I’d vote for you. Anti Maggot Party sounds good.2 points

If my TV / PC screen will ever learn how to speak, the first word that comes out will be: "SHOOT!!!!!!" (in German) ... followed by some curses.2 points

I'd have been more inclined to give the benefit of the doubt if he hadn't previously come out and blatantly said as such. ie. it's his stated belief. Where exactly do you think he proposes that they go, not to be missed ? Whether it be the previous 'hard language' or the now softer rhetoric, it amounts to the same thing. The extermination of a people, of millions of human beings. It's generally done so as to dehumanize a people and basically prepare the ground for the continuation or/and upscaling of treating them as less than human.2 points

Candeias actually was bent over with his hands on his thighs when Kamberi received the ball.1 point

Am I the only one that is disappointed in the club for not coming out and going tonto about this latest assault on one of our players?1 point

Tav should thank his luck the incident didn’t happen in Glasgow. If it had, he would have been hearing from the Procurator O’ Fiscal on Monday.1 point

I’d like to see police or stewards beat the shit out of them in full view of the everyone. It’s not going to happen but that’s what I’d like to see ?1 point

Fantastic to see Bates play as HSV pump St Pauli in their own midden. The commentator remarked, "A few Glasgow Rangers fans in there, as we can see.". I think he was referring to the Union Flag. ???1 point

If she continues to be unaware of the growing resentment towards her 'perceived' bias, this will contribute towards her downfall. We don't vote directly for the BBC, and therefore cannot easily use democracy to affect them, but we can with her and some of the corrupt members of her party. I've referred to this as weak leadership previously, but now it's just becoming reckless at best.1 point

It is, IMHO, more like people swimming in the same direcion, only on a different wave-length. Very common among football supporters, not least those organized in different groups. I would assume no-one on this board will wish anything but a success for this petition.1 point

Irish terrorists being freedom fighters but Scottish soldiers doing bad ... looks like a bipolar relation with reality to me. Anyone with bit of brain would have a field day when arguing with these guys. BTW, the IRA et al, not least when related to terrorists of old, are a proscribed organisation in Britain. You do wonder why British law is not executed.1 point

We have a better squad. We have finally beaten the yahoos and we did quite well in Europe. For me, there's a lack of bottle. We have been all over Hibs for the best part of three matches but haven't beaten them once. We seem unable to kill matches off. We need more leaders in the team. We need to have a shot instead of constantly passing the buck. We need more heart and more desire. We're not far away and two or three good signings could make a world of difference.1 point

The lad cleary punched Tav, albeit it was a weak effort. The press in this country are a joke. A nasty word in a song is seeming more distressing than someone smacking you - which is, of course, absolute bollocks.1 point

Do you know why I used the.... Maybe you should......line ? It was a sarcastic response to you using the "Maybe they should..." line in the post I was replying to. In other words, look in the mirror and repeat your latest sermon. Now that you have recognised the right of X to donate their money as they see fit and it has nothing to do with child abuse, you now invoke the 'yahoosympathiser' line........ Akin to a man stumbling backwards grabbing hold of fresh air. I can understand why people on here might be reluctant to praise Celtic supporters for doing anything, fine. I wouldn't have bothered myself, until I saw someone had posted an article, which got the customary and reprehensible call for the genocide of all the Palestinian people from the usual suspect, followed by irrelevant and inaccurate comparisons. The Palestinians are human beings who are heavily disadvantaged at various levels and good on ANYONE or GROUP who want to donate money to them. At the same time, there is no pressure on anyone to do so and if they have a problem with it, they could at least attempt to be civil and accurate.1 point

Appeal: I contest this decision of the BBC not to release the information I requested. The information is not held for the purposes of journalism, art or literature as claimed by the BBC but is held to ensure services are provided in a cost effectivemanner as specified in the BBC charter (see below) and to ensure that the public services on offer are accessible to viewers listeners and other users. Unless we know how much money is allocated it is not possible to establish reasonable accessibility for BBC licence holders. If Rangers games for example are not covered but Celtic games are (which is the case due to the BBC boycott of Rangers) it is reasonable to assume that the obligation to service listeners, viewers and users in a cost effective and accessible manner is not being met. The BBC in not disclosing the requested information are therefore confirming that either they do not have the information (therefore fail the cost effectiveness measure) or they simply wish to withhold the information because it reveals an imbalance in expenditure (therefore fails the accessibility measure). I therefore repeat my request for the information withheld by the BBC. Extract from BBC CHARTER. GENERAL OBLIGATIONS 61. Making the UK Public Services widely available (1) The BBC must do all that is reasonably practicable to ensure that viewers, listeners and other users (as the case may be) are able to access the UK Public Services that are intended for them, or elements of their content, in a range of convenient and cost effective ways which are available or might become available in the future. These could include (for example) broadcasting, streaming or making content available on- demand, whether by terrestrial, satellite, cable or broadband networks (fixed or wireless) or via the internet.1 point

When people bid for Morelos they are not going to take account of Michael Stewart, ‘EBT house in Arran’ Thompson or Jonathan Sutherland valuations. These people are football nonentities outside of the PQ canteen.1 point
