Goldson played like a pub player out there today. Almost every chance created by Dundee came from his mistakes - whether it be the goal where he should have cleared his lines, letting the ball drop over his head for Miller to run onto or whether it was following a Dundee player into the middle third rather than dropping back into position. He was absolutely woeful. And Worrall not a great deal better.

I think he's already said he wants to look after players and rest them when he can and rotate to keep players fresh. It's not working for me and it's causing us more inconsistency.

The constant tinkering week in and out needs to stop. Pick a back four and stick with it. Pick one sitting midfielder and stick with him we don't need two against anyone bar them. Drop candiese as he can't cross a ball and it's mostly what we need him to do or move him in behind the striker Get a plan for corners that doesn't include tavernier taking them and pick a real captain and explain when playing against ten men take short corners! If we don't rate Sadiq then promote one of the youths. We can't play with not forwards. Stop flogging a dead horse. We are poor in the air play on the ground.

I feel sorry for all the bears who made the trip to Dundee to watch that. 80% possession for 45 minutes against a 10 man bottom of the league Dundee side and had no idea how to shoot at goal never mind score. Nowhere near good enough for me folks and you can argue with me all day long and I still wouldn't accept it.

As I've said more than once in this thread Ian, it shows how shallow our depth is. When we don't have our starting XI we lack depth - it's weird though because a month ago we probably wouldn't have been saying that. Something is amiss and if they don't fix it quick the season will be done - it's more a mental thing IMO.

We badly missed Morelos, but IMHO we also badly missed Arfield.

Not the wrong time to come on at all mate. We are ALL raging at the display and the result. However, we also need to be realistic - our start in Europe and some hopeful performances in the league have us believing when, in reality, this shouldn't be our season - Gerrard has had ONE window. Celtic, great or not, spent as much on one player as we spent on an entire squad. Some balance, some realism and some calmness is what is needed. I don't think there is any doubt we have improved over Warburton & Caixinha teams - we just seem to be knee jerk to every disappointing result and/or performance. What is abundantly clear to me is that we don't have nearly the strength in depth we think we do. Not one player who could come on and really change the game with a bit of quality. Celtic are better than us, but they should be, they've had 6 years free reign and stability on AND off the field. We've asked Gerrard to come in and work miracles in 5 months ??? We are so ridiculously short-termist.

We qualified for EL group stages and are second in the league. We are playing badly but the last thing we need to do is look for more managerial change. We need to keep and support SG&Co.

I don't know. I also think that it is an irrelevant question. We massively outspend the teams we are struggling against. We need something that we lack though; a creative midfielder. He need not be expensive.

I think the balance of the midfield has been an issue for us all season. Coulibaly started off well but since the death of his parent he's gone well off the boil. Understandably perhaps but I wouldn't be playing him until his head is sorted. Jack is a good player but perhaps isn't necessary in most SPFL situations. He's not a player that will create chances or score goals so shouldn't feature in situations where we need that. Ejaria is clearly skilful and had lots of potential but he also hides or falls out of games far too easily. He also doesn't do enough in the final third. Arfield is a player that can do the business in forward areas and without him we struggle. Not having an alternative whilst we still have McCrorie, Rossiter, Dorrans and others to play the deeper roles is a mistake from Mark Allen. Perhaps Grezda can fulfil that role but it's not an ideal solution. Can Stephen Kelly step in? This conundrum, along with our obvious problems in attack without Morelos, is pressing ahead of tomorrow's game.

Anyone who is expecting Celtc FC to face any repercussions for the cover up of child abuse had better be prepared for disappointment. It won't happen. As far as the 'Celtc minded' are concerned, the reputation of their club comes before justice for people who were sexually abused. As unbelievable and disgusting as that is, that's the way their pea brains work. And the Scottish authorities will be happy to go along with their wishes.

Not sure why you are calling Kent a 'sand dancer'. He was excellent for a while earlier in the season. Also Halliday lacks one particular credential required for a captain; he can't hold down a regular first team place.

Did anyone notice that Hardie made his comeback from long injury absence with a goal for Livi?. Livi coach was going to sub him but felt goal was forthcoming and kept him on,goal came and then he was subbed. On loan Rudden scoring for fun at Falkirk.Hardie scoring for Livi,Dallas scoring for fun in youths,surely somewhere in there is an answer????.

Agree 100% about Jack. I don't see what he brings to the table apart from 10 yard sideways pass on the half way line. He has zero influence on the game IMO. There where a lot of strange things going on today. For one I really didn't get bringing on both Middleton and Barasic. We ended up with 2 players firing in hopeful crosses from the left with the same end result. I also didn't get the Grezda/Kent/Candieas rotating axis. The players just looked confused

I haven’t kept track of Bates but we should have kept him. There was something to work with. To think the money we got for him was spent on a season of Worral is galling. The CB situation is straight forward for me. Worral out. Goodson and Katic and McAuley stand in.

It shouldn't have been a difficult fixture, against a bottom of the league Dundee side. No one other than Hamilton have found them a difficult fixture we should have been running all over the top of them and scoring plenty of goals even when they had 11 men on the park. There's no excuse, and I'm accepting none, for that woeful draw today none whatsoever.

We needed numbers in and finances meant loans were always going to play a big part in that. Over time we might reduce our dependency on them.

Lafferty was non-existent second half. Wide players need a target & he was mostly posted missing. I expect we’ll see at least one striker arrive next month

We can't cross a ball or win headers in the box. How many games do we need to see cross after cross until we understand it isn't our best option. Candiese must have had fifteen crosses today and not found a man yet. Get the ball down and play through the middle

I am positive he would never publicly talk down a player not on his books to favour one on his books, and vice-versa. We call that a balanced approach, and I am sure the PQ Producer has a wee reminding word in his ear every now and again? It's important to retain balance. The second half sees a red card challenge from Arfield on the Hearts Keeper, Rangers not taking numerous opportunities to notch a third, and a ten man Rangers comfortably hold off Hearts for twenty-five minutes. Preston's frustrations boil over, he loses balance and obviously reminded of the danger, offers, "this is not sour grapes". Encouraged, Billy goes further, "none of this detracts away from Rangers performance". Big Dick, remember he is at Hampden; wades in, calls Arfield's challenge, 'shocking, disgraceful, and outrageous' in turn. Reminds the audience of Rangers seven red cards this season, "obviously, there's problem". Both the Ref' and Linesman get it in the neck again. Now, a Rangers supporter might mention that the Ref' and his officials are the same for both sides, why no yellow cards shown to Hearts players? Further, why was Clare's shocking, disgraceful, and outrageous flat booted, studs showing, assault on Coulibaly's upper thigh not a red card? Even further again, why did Paul Mitchell, Allan Preston, Billy Dodds, Brian McLaughlin, and Big Dick deliberately NOT MENTION this challenge at any point during the broadcast? See how balance can be awkward and inconvenient! Finally, Craig Levein's post match outburst to Brian McLaughlin was well received at PQ, they would have called it, 'balanced'. He knew what he was doing, he did the very same as Dundee United manager, at Ibrox ten years past. He was flanked by his then club Chairman, Eddie Thompson. After a 3-1 defeat, he proclaimed, "we were never going to be allowed to win that game". Craig always sounds balanced when he is pushing at an open door. DrStu' supported the drama by theatrical guffawing, culminating in, "absolutely"! It sounded scripted and rehearsed. Why is Donalda MacKinnon allowing DrStu' to continually bully a colleague? DrStu' does not allow his own vanity to be impinged. On Saturday, another e-mail from an Aberdonian was read, it identified DrStu' as a constant critic of Alex McLeish, the national coach. Further, this criticism was personal and to the detriment of the national team, finally asking for DrStu' to consider his position at BBC Scotland. Clearly, DrStu' does not see the responsibility that comes with access to the megaphone. Anyways, DrStu' came back to that particular e-mail twice in the next five minutes, he was concerned he was being isolated and he has a right to a different opinion. He supported Jum Spence's view that McLeish should not be appointed because he has an EBT(how does he share a studio with Billy Dodds and Steven Thomson) and voices off regularly about Big Eck's big house in Fulham. This all goes to prove that DrStu' has a first class ego, and a second class mind. BBC Scotland celebrated forty years of specific broadcasting last week, DrStu' has been at least a weekly fixture for two thirds of that time. He has survived a lot of changes because he is a Toadie. When Donalda MacKinnon was appointed, he announced, "I've met her once, I like her, I like her a lot". In his sixty-seventh year he has learned to hate more carefully. In 24 years he has gone from sneering at license fee paying Rangers supporters or, "h-u-ns and typical orange wankers" as he called us; to rocking his maternal Donegal born grandmother's name as a nom de guerre on the RTC Blog for five years. DrStu' no longer has to claim Rangers supporters ransacked Barcelona's cathedral in 1972, preventing a Rangers supporting colleague from sharing access to the microphone is sufficient to achieve his aim, 'a cleansing'. Accusing DrStu' of bullying will be met with his tell all retort, "not at all" but he remains consumed by hate, why is he intolerant of Kenny McIntyre? DrStu' views Bears as Munchkins and he knows the value of holding that Bullhorn. Another colleague, Chris McLaughlin has been a long term fixture at Beeb Scotland, he has never appeared on 'Off the Ball'. He refuses to do so, and has been promoted twice. DrStu' also knows the value of the off button on that Bullhorn.
