  1. Candeias is everything I want in a Rangers player. He works his socks off, gives 100% every game, he is passionate and works tirelessly for his teammates.

  2. Nonsense, you have no idea what went on during the games! have you ever thought he may be getting abuse through the whole match? it's football, it happens

  3. They can't blur the lines and have it both ways Frankie. Sturgeon, if she chose to, could shut this dissemination of ' private' views down at a stroke. The fact that she doesn't raises some important questions. Either she has poor control of the party membership; she tacitly approves of the private views; or both. There is absolutely no chance of it being the case that it is neither of the aforementioned scenarios. In their rush to placate the republican elements of the party and thereby engaging with sections of the electorate to win votes, the SNP have taken many voters for granted. They also behave as though they have an absolute majority in Holyrood which, of course, they don't have. Derek Mackay's recent circumvention of due process with regard to loans paid to Ferguson Shipbuilders is one such case in point. The electorate has a long memory and will not be forgiving in forthcoming elections.

  4. Sigh. The United Kingdom is a union of nations so those defending the status quo may be considered unionists. Scotland is part of that union but some wish to separate from it so could be considered Scottish nationalists as per the SNP. It's really not difficult and I'd prefer it was kept as simple as I've respectfully requested.

  5. Agree with all that Craig. FWIW, I find it very difficult to align myself to any party nowadays as the older I get the more nonsense these people seem to talk. I'd also suggest using one's football team as a barometer in how to vote isn't the most sensible thing in the world but Rangers are important to me so it is something I factor into the way I vote. I want my football club treated the same as others and the SNP have proven they won't do that. Worse, they're not alone - isn't that right James Kelly? Generally it worries me greatly that people like Adam, Dornan, Kelly and others are in positions of authority when their words and actions are so worryingly inaccurate, naive and eager to cause offence. Unfortunately, it's not just the SNP politicians that are guilty of such and that's what has turned me off politics so much in recent years. Brexit, Independence, the NHS, education, policing etc etc etc - all are important subjects and all are being managed incredibly badly throughout the debate. It's a mess!

  6. Most of the people of the world are republicans. The idea that people are repugnant because they don't want to be 'reigned over' by someone just because they are, or claim to be, the descendant of some ancient scummy war lord (no, they aren't really majestic). Get a grip.

  7. No mention of the lack of class from Ferdinand I see; he should recieve a red card and Candeias should have his card scrubbed. On a side note did anyone see the little piece they did on Anton Ferdinand before the game? Not the sharpest pencil in the box; thick as shit in fact.

  8. In all seriousness, what exactly does “free Scotland” mean ? Free from what ? English rule ? Because if that’s free Scotland then it isn’t much of a freedom given those who want freedom from English rule actually want to be under the rule of the EU. Doesnt sound much like freedom to me.

  9. On the 17th March 1877 Rangers played our first ever Scottish Cup Final against Vale of Leven at Hamilton Crescent in Partick, the match ended 1-1. A replay was also played at the cricket ground which also finished 1-1, that game went into extra time and was abandoned amid controversial circumstances. Vale eventually won the Scottish Cup at First Hampden 3-2. This was a Rangers team of youngsters going toe to toe with the mighty Vale. It was this series of games that saw the transformation of the Rangers from what was essentially a boys club, born on Fleshers Haugh only five years earlier, to a respected football club one which caught the imagination and admiration of the Glasgow public this is something that the Club never lost. The Rangers were never to look back. With this in mind we approached the committee at West of Scotland Cricket Club with a view to having a commemorative plaque placed on their pavilion wall celebrating this wonderful achievement. We’re delighted to say that our proposal was given full approval and the plaque is now in place. We at the Founders Trail would like to sincerely thank: John Thomson at West of Scotland CC. 12. FWIW, I don't think there's any grand SNP plan to attack or alienate Rangers despite the obvious ideological differences between them. Unfortunately there are just a few key individuals within the party who can't put their profession above their personal feelings.

  13. I consider all MPs and MSPs figureheads given their positions of responsibility. I don't think that's unfair. I also didn't notice any Rangers fans leave the stands but accept one or two outwith TV cameras may have but none were on the field of play. Ergo, in my view, Adam's comments were only intended to create mischief and as such are embarrassing and irresponsible given the lack of balance shown with respect to other events. I've absolutely no idea why any RFC fan would think otherwise - whether you vote SNP or not.

  15. Last week, ra Sellik revealed their wage bill to be several hundred thousand pounds short of £60 million. Going across both broadcast and print media today, the number of feelgood articles involving ra Sellik and articles of moral concern running interference of the Torbett verdict, is quite remarkable. BBC Scotland's newly appointed Sports News Correspondent, Chris McLaughlin has presented a piece on gambling sponsorship in Scottish football. Stacey Mullen headlines in the Evening Times on the proposed Mass at St Mary's in the Calton, to mark the 131st anniversary of the founding of ra Sellik. Chris Doyle contacts Kieran Maguire to put a wonderful spin on ra Sellik's financial strength. Ewing Grahame wheels out David Low in the Scottish Sun. The man who advised Fergus McCann warns Rangers, 'careful now'! Apparently, our obsession with preventing Sellik's ten-in-a-row, will see us going burst, AGAIN!

  16. Didn't get to any of these games. I believe the U14's also won 3-1. The U16's game was cancelled.

  19. I wonder if the SNP's party leaders appreciate the strength of feeling towards some of their MSPs and other members. If they don't, they are out of touch and that demonstrates poor leadership. If they do acknowledge it, they've done nothing to create the perception that they want to do something about it. Either way, they deserve a good hiding in the next elections. I know of quite a few SNP voters that will now vote for an alternative because of their behaviour. The funny thing is that it's the contradictions, double standards, and lies that's caused it. The only problem for me is that some other useless clown of an MSP or councillor will take their place. I'd like to change our political system to a dictatorship, with me as the dictator. I'd certainly make some changes. #VoteForGaffer
