Adam is a SNP MSP and conviently ignores the "racist" coin throwing that Morelos was subjected to. How any SNP voting Rangers fan's face isn't burning with shame at their actions every time they walk through the Ibrox turnstyles is beyond me.7 points

If our fans vote for these Rangers haters then they deserve to be attacked. It's them that are putting these politicians in place and I'll continue to criticise them, particularly when they refuse to accept that there are major issues within the SNP when it comes to our club, refuse to condemn the attacks or just stick their heads in the sand.7 points

I assume that’s directed at me? I saw Dornans’ idea so posted it, don’t agree with it. As far as Adam is concerned I think it’s a stupid tweet, could be the guy was just disappointed at his team losing. But as a politician he should be careful what he posts on line you would think. It does seem to me that some SNP/YES people have given up on the Rangers support and see all of us as the UB’s, a political mistake in my view.4 points

You are using it as an agenda as much as the republican part of the SNP. Rangers supporters or Protestants who want to live in a free Scotland have the right to vote who they want as do Catholics have the right to vote to remain in Britain.4 points

I've never heard of this MSP but how ridiculous of him to make such a statement. Equally ridiculous however is your boring and predictable attack on fellow fans each time an SNP member does something like this. Attack the SNP member, but leave our fans alone please. The shame is on you for that. I can't imagine who you vote for that gives you the moral high ground each time.4 points

Couldn’t agree more with the sentiment. They know they have lost most of any good faith in votes they had with undecided voters who were not indoctrinated. They know their ship is sinking and are showing their true colours.3 points

The Lunatic Is Running The Asylum Written by: Nostragerus Sunday, 4th November 2018 Once again the Scottish media are using the term "shame game". After the last so-called game in 2011, we have another one that has attracted the media’s attention. What the media have failed to highlight is the common denominator in both incidents - the involvement of one man, namely Neil Lennon For years he has been involved in major incidents within football; and his private life (which I will mention later!) The continuation from his playing days into management of goading opposing fans is his speciality and until the authorities within the Scottish football game or law enforcement agencies act there is a serious risk that it endangers law and order! After a volatile game last Wednesday when the Hearts goalkeeper was attacked Lennon proceeded to antagonise Hearts fans with gestures resulting in one fan throwing a coin at him, never a man to miss a trick Lennon feigned injury pretending he was hit on the face (when everyone else seen it hit his chest!) proceeding to fall and indulge in shameless amateur dramatics! What if Hibs fans had indulged once again in their "over-exuberance" and invaded the pitch and wanted to get involved with Hearts fans? Does no-one in authority care what Lennon could be responsible for or are they scared of him? This is nothing new as in just over a year he has twice tried to wind up Rangers fans gesticulating to them, as well as many other incidents over the years, even resorting to calling Aberdeen fans “sheep shaggers” over a microphone at Celtic Park. His notorious friends in the media seem happy to ignore this! The latest excuse that he offers is the claim that behaviour towards him is because he is an "Irish Catholic" and blatantly ignoring the fact that two high profile Managers Martin O’Neill and Brendan Rodgers are both from the same country yet do not yield the same abuse – most probably because they didn’t try to goad opposition fans! The usual suspects wade in as expected. The not so charming Chris Sutton, the resident fool on BT Sport, who was found guilty of spitting in a man’s face in 2000. And Angela Haggerty, who is happy to get any slot on TV now that her career as journalist is over following her recent departure from the Herald - if anybody should understand what bigotry is about then it is Angela. She only has to read what her IRA-supporting bigoted family members post on social media! Then we have Peter "McGuire" Martin, another one whose journalistic career is on the wane. Rumours that the audience for his TV programme consisted of about 200, mostly made up of McGuire’s family members and Alan Rough’s ex-girlfriend’s may well be true! What is definite is that McGuire is desperately trying to find a way back into the money spinning media circus! McGuire had been very silent on Walter Smith, Dick Advocaat & Alex McLeish being sang about as "Orange Bastards" over the years. He also ignored the abuse that Nacho Novo received, and the seriously ill Fernando Ricksen being attacked! Lennon left for England and managing Bolton was as good as his word after telling their fans he would get them out of the championship. He left shortly before they did – unfortunately for them it was down a league rather than up. Another of his managerial failings! Whilst at Bolton he was again exposed as a bully who threatened a mistress with a knife which hastened his departure from the club. Of course this was nothing new as he had previously threatened a girlfriend with violence, Jennifer Johnson, in 2006 after she gave birth to his child. Lennon is intent on causing mayhem within the Scottish game and unless the people at the top of the game act now then something serious will occur It is time for the authorities to act appropriately as it is only a matter of time before someone gets hurt due to his actions, unsurprisingly, even in the aftermath of Wednesday’s unsavoury incidents he still wanted to act the tough guy by claiming he wanted to meet the coin thrower. The lunatic is running the asylum! https://www.vanguardbears.co.uk/article.php?i=208&a=the-lunatic-is-running-the-asylum3 points

A lot of people don't prioritise football colours over other more fundamental issues wrt their own/family wellbeing or quallity of life. However, it is pathetic that a politican is using football colours as a vehicle to troll/campaign/whatever and tends to suggest at the level of todays politican. Two wrongs don't make a right.3 points

Given the current situation where incidents are either emphasised or down-played (by politicians and the media) depending on the club involved - what are the chances of SL being fairly enforced?3 points
-
Collum simply needs to come out and say he got it wrong and second yellow will be resinded. Remember the ref that apologised to rodgers a year or so ago?. Also ferdinand should receive a ban for his antics.3 points

Now your just being silly! Folk are not born SNP or genetically voting for them. They do it through lack of common sense. Tut Tut..........3 points

The name, George Adam struck a chord, but could not remember the significance. Several years past, I had been a Board member of a charity raising funds for Yorkhill kids hospital. We received an e-mail appeal for funds to support the reversal of the proposed closure of the Kids Ward at the Royal Alexandra Hospital, Paisley. We liked the idea of supporting and part funding such a local cause. Being part of a raft of supportive opinion was a necessary insurance, We were astounded to find the local Mp, George Adam was refusing to add his name to supporting this particular cause. What's not to like about retaining a Kids Ward in your constituency? George Adam ignored our correspondence. A few weeks later, the Paisley Express newspaper revealed George Adam's rage at McDonald's decision to close a restaurant franchise on Paisley High Street. George Adam is an idiot.2 points

As usual with those repugnant republican types, they reduce everything to itwo common denominator's, religion and politics. When they all jumped ship from Labour to the SNP, it was ever going to go one way, the sectarian route. They not us brought it down to a simple choice for most now, vote for a republican British, Unionist, Protestant hating Party, or something else far less hateful . Some of our own, a very tiny minority refuse to see what's going on in front of their own eyes they are beyond acting like Ostriches, they are beyond redemption.2 points

David Edgar said yesterday that Rangers get a yellow card 1 out of 4.5 fouls. Celtic's average is 1 out of 9.5 fouls.2 points

To be fair, Collum was incompetent for both teams. He booked a Saints player for a perfectly good tackle. His performance was baffling. Collum is usually poor IMO but yesterday he took it new levels yesterday2 points

Very true. I know we've discussed this before but maybe as a club we should be more vocal about the poor decisions against us. I don't personally like doing that, but it would appear to have given Celtic and Hibs an advantage so maybe we have to. Do we know yet why that card was given to DC yet? I still can't believe it was for that incident because there is no way the ref could interpret that as being his fault in any way. In fact, I wouldn't have thought Ferdinand deserved a yellow for that either. So, was there something else that we've missed? If it was for that incident, Collum deserves to be punished. We have to set and maintain standards, and allowing him to ref more SPL games after that would be an embarrassment to other refs ..... surely.2 points

I was wondering if they were going to claim that the coins thrown by St.Mirren fans had been collected and used to buy fish suppers for some needy old folks in downtown Paisley.1 point

Scottish Nationalists can call me whatever the Hell they want. Their hatred is something I welcome and embrace. If you vote for the likes of James Dornan, Nicola Sturgeon, Michelle Thompson, Tasmina Ahmed Sheikh and Humza then you're pitiable, at best.1 point

The big thing today was the three points but Tav needs benched for a few games. He seems to have completely lost self-belief. As for that f**king referee ...1 point

Another late show but a well deserved win after taking the game to St Mirren in the second half. Credit to the players for plugging away right until the end despite not playing as well as we'd all like. Conditions were very poor so that's an important three points.1 point
