A sensible signing in the short term but I'd rather someone younger in the longer term.7 points

There is a lot wrong. We can’t create a chance and we can’t keep a clean sheet and we have mid table form and find ourselves there for good reason.6 points

We have signed three players from the Balkans but instead play loanees and sub-par players from England. Something doesn't sit well.4 points

The ref was poor but we didn't drop points because of him. We were just poor4 points

We need to define what being on top of teams means. Killie let us have the ball tonight so it's a given we are going to be more dominate with possession etc. Aberdeen did the same. To me that is not being "on top of teams". We created nothing over the last 3/4 games and barely gave the oppositions keepers anything to do.4 points

Don't let stats fool you. We are not outplaying anybody at the moment. In the last 4 games the opposition have been happy to drop deep and give us the ball so that somewhat skews the possession stats. With regards to shots on target, that is also misleading as we are simply not making the opposing teams keepers work at all. Outplaying teams to me is getting behind their defence, creating chances and giving their keeper plenty to think about. These things have not happened in our last 4 games3 points

I see similarities between this season and Le Guen's season ,what with mediocre league form ,knocked out of the league cup, and yet a good European record. No relevance, just something that came to mind.3 points

Even though we try to utilise the wings I feel we are not entirely successful. How many times do our wingers/full backs get to the by line and cut crosses back? It's the hardest ball to defend but we rarely craft those positions3 points

The second half, in particular, was terrible. We looked like we had no idea how to play football. The manager needs to get a grip of this quickly.3 points

https://iainduff.wordpress.com/2012/04/19/when-the-rangers-came-to-wolverhampton-town/ When The Rangers came to iWolverhampton Town APRIL 19, 2012 / IAIN DUFF From all over Scotland they came with their Union Flags and Scottish standards. Soaked to the bone from the torrential rain, 10,000 of them paraded through the streets of Wolverhampton. Despite the weather, many were without coats, but they didn’t care. All they wanted to do was enjoy their day away from home and see their team win. Their red, white and blue flags and banners that brightened the grey skies protected them from the elements anyway. The locals – bemused and amused in equal measure – may not have recognised the songs and chants, but they would surely have appreciated the passion with which they were delivered. The battle cry of ‘We are the people’ echoed off the red-brick buildings as the procession wound its way through the town centre. It had started early in the morning as the first trains rumbled into the station. By lunchtime, office workers were abandoning their desks and lining the streets to watch the show. In return, the Scots bellowed their anthems: ‘There’s not a team like the Glasgow Rangers’ and ‘We will follow on’. They broke into The National Anthem, and were met with spontaneous applause from the bystanders. It may have resembled an army, but there was nothing hostile about this invading force. There was alcohol consumed of course, and plenty were in high spirits, but no-one embarrassed themselves or their compadres. It was simply a display of passion and devotion to a football team that was then, and remains to this day, more than a just a club. On the streets of this industrial Midlands town, they were celebrating a way of life. ‘The supporters were parading up the streets about ten abreast, waving flags and banners,’ Rangers defender Harold Davis recalled. ‘It was fantastic. They stopped the whole city; there were thousands of people there.’ April 19th 1961. That was the day The Rangers came to Wolverhampton town. Three weeks earlier, Wolves had visited Glasgow for the first leg of the battle for a place in the European Cup Winners Cup final.......https://iainduff.wordpress.com/2012/04/19/when-the-rangers-came-to-wolverhampton-town/3 points

The last few games have been hard to stomach that’s for sure. But the way teams are setting up against us could be viewed as back handed compliment as they now know if they open up we are able to hurt them. With that said tonight was always going to be a tough game as Kilmarnock have not conceded more than one goal in their last seven matches in Glasgow under Steve Clark. But now we need to get behind the team in the next few matches and hope we can stay in the pack. Other teams around us will drop points this weekend and we need to make sure we take advantage. Stay calm and carry on is the message just now.2 points

I'm not sure if our form relates directly to the Worral/ Katic situation but what I would say is that we have done more chopping and changing than I would have hoped for. I get that it sometimes it can be horses for courses and we have had some injuries but I would have tried to keep the same team/shape as much as possible. Even tonight, changing the keeper made no sense to me.2 points

Surely the stats that matter are that in all competitions we are -1 goals in 270 minutes of football?2 points

During the first half Kilmarnock had two defensive midfielders and a central defender on a yellow card. Despite this we still played it out to the wing at every opportunity. Very frustrating to sit through.2 points

Unbelievable stuff. We are so reliant on going down the wing that it looks like we don’t know how to run the ball through them. So many times there were gaps that could be run into and we passed it (square or backwards). On Killie, they are one of the dirtiest teams I’ve seen. Every dirty trick, they used it. The ref lost control of the game from kick off. He was less than pathetic. Was the Morelos booking for a dive correct or was it a penalty?2 points

They played with 8,9 10 men behind the ball all night. They had our wide men doubled up on all night. There was a corner when I counted 7 of their men on their six yard box. That's hard to break down.We need to change our tactics a bit and entice them out closer to the halfway line and then split their defence. Our forwards may be good enough but our midfield lacks the quality to service them. Also we need to start shooting more from outside the 18 yard box.2 points

You simply cant escape the effect the ref had in this game , yet another absolute roaster ,he saw things that no one else did , fouls you expect to go one way went the other , continually stopped play , and was very very lenient with his cards .2 points

One goal for and two against in 270 mins of football is certainly not good enough for me. I'm done for the night.2 points

Nonsense. Davis is head & shoulders above any of our current midfielders, 34 is not old for a player these days, I am more concerned if he is injury free!2 points

I'd be happy to see us sign him on a 2 year contract. Exactly the type of player we need.2 points

I genuinely struggle to comprehend how you can listen to/tolerate these broadcasts, 26th of foot. I heard about 3 seconds of Dick Gordon's voice on the bus, after the match, before I shouted at the driver to turn it off (I wasn't alone in doing so). I could sense the joy in the few words I did hear and it resembled an Aberdeen fan show, rather than that of a national, publicly funded, broadcaster.2 points

Halliday’s passing has been good tonight and he’s been perhaps our best player. I think this role suits him.1 point

I am not for bringing back old players as it hardly ever works. Gerrard was just bumming up the scouting team in his presser. If a 34 year old Steven Davis is the best they can come up with then god help us.1 point

Hollow revenge comparing a reserves victory to a Cup semi final defeat for the first team. I'm sure Aberdeen are gutted about the combined results1 point

Thanks. I hope the guy never has to fight in a war and finds out the real meaning of torture.?1 point

He is a quality midfield player and I would welcome him back initially on a loan deal no problem, he knows the club inside out and would be an upgrade on any of our current midfield players. His age isn't an issue, however I just hope he is injury free.1 point

An early goal would be nice but if it doesn't happen then the fans need to be patient too. I can understand the disappointment after Sunday but some of the reactions have been well OTT.1 point

I have just been catching up on this thread. Totally agree with Pete re Flanagan and although better than Hodson he is nowhere near the standard of Barasic. Flanagan gets skinned way to easy on a regular basis too.1 point

I thought all three of you made a valuable contribution and suggest you ignore trite comments.1 point

Last SF win in 90 minutes was back on 30 January 2011 with Walter Smith in charge when we beat Motherwell 2-1 in the League Cup........We went onto to beat Celtic 2-1 AET in the Final.1 point
