BTW, I think the manager deserves a lot of credit tonight. Flanagan and Worrall were interesting choices but both were excellent and I thought the manager was also right not to make any subs later in the game as it could have disrupted our momentum. Positive from that is a few players will be fresh for Sunday and we'll need them to be.5 points

I think a few folk need to calm down. We absolutely dominated in that second half and although we wre wasteful (almost every time we took the wrong option) we played very well and never gave up - the two late goals being the least we deserved. A great win and the players should be proud of themselves. What an atmosphere!!!4 points

Worrall did pretty well in Spain but struggled a bit in Livi. However, I'll say one thing, he's a confident lad, doesn't hide and should only get better. I do feel sorry for Katic though as I think he's been just as good as Goldson. He's still young though so plenty of time for him whilst Goldson and Worrall probably won't be here next season.3 points

Great 2nd half performance. We know we can play like that and it is frustrating if we let the standards slip somewhat or are up against trench-diggers hoping for scraps. I would have swapped Morelos with Lafferty roundabout the 70 minute mark, as he looked done for the night, Had we been a bit more slick up front with final and square balls, we could have had quite few tonight. Wondered too that Middleton, Grezda or Laff never came on. But what can you say if it turns out as it has?!3 points

Morelos was outstanding. One or two bad mistakes in good positions but he led the line magnificently and took his goals perfectly. He just needs the service and the support. Of course, like any striker, he'll miss chances and have off days but anyone who thinks he's not a top player simply doesn't know the game.3 points

Love Candeias as well. That third goal was all Candeias, fitness and work rate are outstanding. Credit to Morelos for keeping his cool and slotting it in too, important to remember he’s been criticised for not scoring these often enough.3 points

A rather enjoyable evening. Moreish. We can improve.2 points

Everyone I spoke to before the game couldn't understand why Gerrard had picked Worrell in front of Katic, myself included, but Gerrard got it spot on. Worrell and their brute of a forward had a real physical battle in the first half and Worrell handled him really well. I thought Worrell was outstanding tonight.2 points

I agree with Kent in the second half but in the first I was shouting for him to be subbed. Thankfully Steve never heard me.2 points

Rapid looked quite good in the first half but then a spent force in the second. We showed strength of character to keep fighting though. Especially since our players were making lots of unforced errors throughout the match. It would have been easy to give up. Morelos had a mixed night but managed to do what counted. Candeias also made some key contributions for the goals. Joe Worrall had a really good game tonight too. Overall a great night and easily worth £35.2 points

I thought we were very good at one side of the game and poor at another side. We did dominate the play, were good at winning the ball back and generally being in control. Some top performances across the back line and a few others. But we really toiled in the final third, we couldn’t turn possession into chances. A moment of brilliance from Ejaria ultimately was the difference and he was doing it all night in other areas. At the end of the day it’s a fantastic result and another morale boost with some really good performances throughout the team.2 points

He was excellent - strong defensively but good on the ball as well. We're lucky to have him, Goldson and Katic.2 points

Flanagan in for Barisic at home a bit of a head scratcher. Flanagan and Kent together at home when we are looking for goals doesn’t work well, it basically guarantees no crosses from the left.2 points

Have the tims not played as many games at Murrayfield in the last 4 years as Hearts have? They used Murrayfield as their "home" ground in 2014 when the Commonwealth games were busy funding the rebuild of the entrance and walkway to the piggery, and upgrading their executive boxes FOC.2 points

Ditto Coop and no lapses of 'When I was young' to play into FARE's hands either. I can't wait until Stevie gets a couple of transfer windows under his belt. Credit to the lads. There's no great players in there in all honesty (maybe with the exception of the goalkeeper) but we have good hard working players who will hopefully grow as a team and go to the next level all being well. Let's keep it going. Flanagan was excellent btw.1 point

Are man crushes acceptable for someone hitting 50 soon...? ?1 point

I'll be very surprised if EPL teams aren't sniffing around him already. He's top quality.1 point

Whilst Arfield was guilty of giving the ball away too often, he showed some real quality with some of his flicks which very nearly created some openings.1 point

Yeah, he's maybe not 100% fit and, like I say, he's still young (as is Worrall) so makes sense to try and rotate them.1 point

Kent was superb as was Morelos, but it was a great team effort. Very very happy Bear, on to Sunday with the same attitude please.1 point

I thought Flanagan might play tonight Frankie but I was surprised at Worrall as I havent seen much from him that makes me feel confident in him. I stand corrected though other than the first 5-10 where he slowed the game down a fair bit he was outstanding tonight.1 point

With regards to the final 3rd I think we are too narrow at times and I cannot think of many times in the last 2 games were we hit the byline.1 point

Think villareal can damage Rapid and Spartak. 8 points might be enough in this group 9 for sure. More cash in the bank, coefficient improving, reputation on the rise and transfer values of players rising. Any doubts morelos is not a £10m player can be put to bed. Well done Rangers especially the second half. Blew them away.1 point

IIRC that Sturm Graz side were beaten 5-0 twice in the group but still went through as group winner We were the only side in the group to get an away win and still went out !!1 point

Watched Tottenham - Barcelona yesterday, arrived in Glasgow this morning. Mood is great ? biggest problem for some of us is that smoking is not allowed and that you guys are strict with drunk fans. Anyway, looking forward for tonight. Since we got our new manager the mood is a lot better although we know within a few days he can't do a lot. So a draw would be fine for us as I think you guys are still favs in this match. Hope for a good match and that we are not too loud for you guys ?1 point

Call my cynical but this seems like a bit of a fake protest from Celtic... I'm awaiting the next bandwagon they want to start that will reflect this feigned grievance as either the cause or a reason why they have to get their own petty way.1 point

I hear Brenda is complaining that it should be a neutral venue. Last I checked it is. I think i'm also right in saying that the yahoos have played as many if not more games at Hampden in the past year than Hearts have at Murrayfield. I sense the fear in Brenda these days. He may be right in covertly suggesting that Hearts get a modicum of an advantage playing at Murrayfield perhaps crowd wise. But no different from the advantage he has at Hampden where they even have an 'end' that's considered 'theirs' I hope Hearts absolutely batter them and think they can.1 point

Barcelona and Real Madrid may play nice football but everything else about both clubs is an abomination that has little to do with competition, fair play or football. Plus Barcelona are separatists. ?1 point
