Who cares where a player comes from, what his nationality, colour or religion is? I only care whether or not he is available at a reasonable price and has the skills and commitment to make a positive contribution to Rangers.8 points

If you vote for the SNP you can have no complaints when they show their sectarian credentials. The SNP hates Rangers and those Rangers fans who delude themselves by voting for the SNP are an embarrassment to themselves and a liability to Rangers. By all means be a brainwashed fool, just don't pollute the Rangers support with your stupidity.6 points

https://mobile.twitter.com/SNPdavid/status/154159374938550272 interesting Tweet from one of those who objected. This is what we’re up against - they are openly biased against us and don’t even care that they are openly mocking a ceremony linked to the death of miners because they hate us so much. And they are in a climate where they are comfortable enough to continue to do that, unpunished.4 points

Pleased to see only one Rangers player will be denied a much-needed rest. Otherwise, utter disinterest.4 points

Correct. Instead of whining about how badly we're treated and fretting over how we might persuade the BBC to look on us more favourably, we should be stepping up our efforts on and off the pitch. A successful Rangers lording it over Celtic is the best revenge we could ever get. Until then we should be taking every opportunity to ridicule the PQ mob, both as a club and as a support.3 points
-
The reason BBCPQ does what it does regards Rangers is because it’s licence-fee funded. Remove this outdated means of funding it & you’ll see a totally different broadcaster. And it won’t employ the pondlife it currently does3 points

That doesn't reassure me at all. I want him to be signed as a result of a proper scouting process. Not because his mate told us he was good.3 points

Used to never miss a Scotland game but got scunnered when this tartan army mob came along I also have no time for Scotland now after the way the SFA treated our club we needed help they turned a blind eye .3 points

Beyond belief the SFA have taken no action against Hartley following his comments last week. So they couldn’t even consider doing anything regards McGregor2 points

He didn’t punch him, knee him or use excessive force or brutality off the ball. Case closed.2 points

I feel sick at the thought of either of those two being invited to Ibrox. They and their flock should never be anywhere near our stadium.2 points

The most surprising thing about that story is that Frank McAveety is now seen as some who stands up for 'us'. Remarkable. How many of the posters on here are members of their local community council? Members of a political party? A Trade Union?2 points
-
The sad thing is, they are just getting bolder and bolder with their political attacks on our club. They are getting to the point they are no longer hiding it. Soon they will be issuing accompanying statements simply saying; “get it up ye Sevco”.2 points

Neither Rangers or Celtic have won at Fir Park in their last 4 visits combined (2 each).2 points

I don't see the relevance Pete? You may as well cite Aberdeen being up for games and beating Celtic in the 80's and call that relevant. Different players and managers (and clubs tbh) I doubt if Motherwell will be up for any game like they were yesterday. Despite Celtic winning the leagues over the last few years, Rangers will always be these teams cup final. Add SG to the mix and I think they will be even more determined to take a scalp. They celebrated like they won the World Cup yesterday (as did Aberdeen). We just have to make sure we are not in a position were late goals mean anything. We should have gone for the 4th goal as soon as the 2nd half started and put the game to bed. While there is a goal in it, the other team will always have hope.2 points

Don't think about football allegiances when voting, you oik. The SNP are fair when it comes to Rangers.2 points

Some of us vote for these reptiles. I'm not making it up either. Unbelievable.2 points

Before we look forward ... if Motherwell plays like that against the Scum, Hibs and Aberdeen, these teams will surely lose points there over the season. Oh what exciting times for the Fir Park Faithful ...2 points
-
Come on, let's not bring football allegiances into politics. The SNP are a cracking bunch. None of them bring football allegiances into their thinking. Honestly. They're all fair minded when it comes to it.2 points

Of course a draw would be a good result. If you take the context of our busy schedule, our trip to Russia and the tough start to the domestic campaign (just the one home game so far) then if we're still unbeaten on Sunday afternoon, then we should all be delighted. Toe to toe, I think we're capable of beating Celtic this season but it might be a big ask at this very moment.2 points
-
The real reason is it’s full of Rangers hating folk at the highest level and has been for a long time and there is influence with certain ministers. There is only one answer and that is put the ball in the net.1 point

An Osijek fan over on FF said that Grezda was their best player last season ... and had no "if you go out of Europe he can go elsewhere" - clause as Barisic. We shall see. He's a right-winger who can play as a striker or left winger, if need be.1 point

Not sure how @Big Jaws managed this so quickly but it's a day earlier than usual so please enjoy! It's worth it for the title alliteration alone surely?1 point

http://ibroxcessnockcc.weebly.com/minutes/august-09th-2018 Some stuff on this one. Very limited info though. Key part below... 7.2 Application for temporary public licence - Ibrox Fanzone 11th August - area where this is proposed was originally part of a local trust and is now owned by Glasgow life. These facilities were given to the Glasgow life by the trust and the council on the condition that they be used for the local community. There was much discussion and objection to this proposed use. It was noted that unlike most licensing there was no option for individuals to comment and/or object. Community Council Can object until 9th July, as such a vote was taken by show of hands from residents. Objection was favoured by a very clear majority therefore Kirsty will send objection letter prior to deadline.1 point

I don't mind a bit of physicality but IMO Motherwell took it too far (hand round Lafferty's throat for example). I had to laugh when I heard Radio Scotland saying it was a "good advert" for Scottish football. The tactics deployed by Motherwell (5/6 brutes chasing 1st and 2nd balls) were positively prehistoric and should be consigned to the past. If that was a good advert for Scottish Football, no wonder we are in the mire as a footballing nation. I would also like to see their reaction if it was us that deployed such obvious physical tactics. I'm quite sure Mr English and Mr Gordon would have been less complimentary1 point

Seems as if the various outlets are picking a player at random and throwing it out there. Last weeks bombardment of speculation (98% Colin Nish).1 point

I'm gutted but we'd have lost this a year ago. Chin up. We have a team who try their hearts out. That's surely what we all want.1 point

Tend to think the timing of the game is what will mean we are not at our best and that Celtic players will focus and put a performance in for the first time this season. Even if the result was to go against us on Sunday,...... SG&Co have to continue in the same vein and we'll have them on toast soon enough.1 point
-
I don't require my political representatives to support Rangers or even like Rangers. I certainly don't want them to hate Rangers though. The SNP make it quite clear that, as Rangers is an institutional and sporting representation of Unionism (like it or not, that's how we are perceived), they do not like us. The evidence for that is readily available.1 point

If that is the case then should it not be a lighter blue and have a star instead of RFC ? As Gonzo says it would be great to wear but I would want people to recognise it as a Rangers scarf or make it totally true to the founders . Apart from the RFC badge I can't relate it to anything Rangers. As I said if you don't see the badge then it looks more like a Kilmarnock scarf to me. You could make it lighter blue and even incorporate RFC within the star. You guy's do fantastic work and I hate to criticise but as they say. If you like it tell others, if you don't tell the people that matter. I am only one person giving you my thoughts. You have obviously sold thousands to happy customers. Can I also ask in this Photo Peter Campbell has a Lion on his shirt. Why was that? Was that a sign for the captain?1 point

To be fair it is being marketed by the founders trail and early Rangers strips from the founding period had no red in them. This strip for example was used from 1879 to 1883 and looks very similar to the scarf. This is the earliest one to feature any red in it and was used from 1904 to 1907. This link shows all strips from the very first to the most recent. All Rangers strips1 point
