I actually think Tavernier will get the benefit of having good CB's, or should I say both full backs. Tav gets a bit of a raw deal, IMO, from fans, I am a fan of Tav and believe he is one of our best players. He and any full back should be allowed to go forward at anytime, as he does, and he should have the belief he will be covered, which IMO doesn't get that and therefore he is blamed for being out of position if he goes forward and we lose a goal.3 points

Rather sell if he doesn’t want to be here, which is certainly the impression he’s given2 points

What’s happening here is our old adversary Daly is trying to imply that there was historical child abuse at Rangers. Whatever happened(whether it was satisfactorily dealt with at the time or not) it was nowhere near the scale of what was going on in the East End. Daly is clutching at straws if he’s hoping to prove other clubs were as implicated as his own team.2 points

I'm not a fan of banning everything, dB. It's a slippery road, as we're already seeing. Social media gives dafties the opportunity to say silly things, which might have previously only be said privately, very publicly.2 points

I'd wager there are more Rangers supporters who vote SNP than attend church on a regular basis far less go on Orange Walks. I don't know what kind of echo chamber some people on here live in. I personally know a a lot of Rangers supporters who voted 'Yes'. Some are convinced, card carrying nationalists who believe an independent Scotland will create a wealthier/fairer/better (delete as appropriate) society, some had never voted before in their lives and got caught up in the emotional argument and others who wavered one way or the other right through the campaign before being swayed by something or other at the death. I voted 'No' but if they held another referendum this year I'm not sure I'd vote the same way. My politics change as events unfold and society changes. I've voted for five different parties so far in my life, I'm loyal to none of them. Three years in Northern Ireland convinced me that unbending loyalty to any institution or ideal leaves you ripe to be exploited and taken for granted. Outside of my immediate family pretty much the only constant in my life has been Rangers, everything else is available.2 points

There seems to be a flood of distractions in the media at the moment. Is there something going on elsewhere?2 points

Maybe if we had turned up for the semi final, we could've stopped them. We only have ourselves to blame. Murder.1 point

The loyalty of our support never ceases to amaze me, yet I shouldn't be surprised.1 point

It’s still very harsh to include Allardyce in this. He’s been a success at pretty much every club he’s been at bar Newcastle. And he’s proven time and time again that he is almost peerless when it comes to improving the defensive performance of his sides. He took over Blackburn, Sunderland, Crystal Palace, Sunderland and Everton half way through a season where all had struggled to keep a clean sheet and were in the relegation places. In each season he saved them and kept loads of clean sheets in the process. He also steered Blackburn, Everton and West Ham to top half finishes from those weak positions.1 point

The impression given is that Shagger’s filling in for a couple of seasons until Kelly and McCrorie are ready for the first team. Proper succession planning!1 point

Aw Naw!! Not Rangers knee!! Say it ain't so, Rousseau!!1 point

That would be nothing new for any Scottish club bar the Old Firm, Aberdeen and Hibs ... for the best part of 5 years now.1 point

Good attitude from Wes, but I don't see him being with us in 2019. Then again predicting the future is fraught with danger, and predicting or future is totally impossible.1 point

Think Wes is going to hang in there and battle for his spot. Wes Foderingham responds to Rangers exit reports on Twitter http://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2018/04/26/wes-foderingham-responds-to-rangers-exit-reports-on-twitter/1 point

I think McGregor is an upper English Championship/lower EPL level keeper. I'm sure he could easily get a game for anyone in England outside the top 6. The keepers we've been subjected to since he left are league 1 and below level. McGregor was a great keeper and I'm led to believe he's not lost a beat.1 point

I take it my Harry Enfield "calm down" reference was overlooked? I'm all for some experienced players, especially at the back.1 point

I don't think anyone thinks Skrtel is a dud and if SG trusts him, he wants him and we get him, then good.1 point

If he's fit and healthy, a good experienced centre-half with ability is more than welcome. Just don't make all the signings over 30.1 point

Doesn't matter who signs, there will always be fans who have a negative opinion on it!. Like every manager I think I will let him sign whoever he wants and then judge them on performances!1 point

There is one fact that should override all others......no matter, race/religion/politics/sexuality/beliefs etc....we are ALL Rangers fans.1 point

All depends if these sorts of things are important to you, tbh I haven't a clue how most of my Gers mates vote, or what their views are of indy or brexit. I've said it many, many times before, I'm proud that in the main we're a broad kirk of supporters, no one has to fit into any identikit of how we should think, vote or express our views.1 point
