As you get older and perhaps (or not) wiser you start to realise what politics is all about. Essentially people will do and say almost anything to further their cause and ultimately score points. In the world of social media virtue signalling is something of a recent twist on old tricks and serves to highlight that no link is too tenuous when there are points to be scored. Of course we in Scotland get our dose of signalling through our media, often from politicians, and usually related to bigotry (or what we’re told is bigotry) and with clock-work guarantee after Old Firm games. A lazy way to define bigotry would be someone using bigoted language. Of course, that is a bit simplistic because context is also important in that equation. It also misses out the wider issue, where it’s the everyday actions and intent which make up the bulk of any real problem and these serve to carry enmity forward. Now here’s a point: football rivalry is binary. You want your team to win, you want the rival to lose. That’s how it works. During the game there is no squaring that circle and there’s no need to either. It’s entertainment. It’s a release for the general population; effectively, it’s a civilised tribal proxy for battle. In an ideal world the game finishes, there’s a bit of banter and its back to normal life until the next time. Now here’s the problem: certain characters are taking the binary essence of the battle and transposing their politics onto it. That way a rivalry can be made to take any form and cover any topic. It can be made to look bad, or intolerant, or race and religion-based. It’s a pretty simple and effective technique but it’s ultimately a distortion of sport. In the wake of the Old Firm game we saw some politicians signalling their sides’ virtues against the fabricated bogeymen. Groups of young lads vocally supporting their team whilst denouncing the opposition in the immediate environs of the stadium whilst surrounded by police is hardly against the spirit of the rivalry or pushing social acceptability to any extreme. Yet the politicians saw fit to project other aspects of culture onto this canvas. These actions benefit the politicians in question from both sides of the same coin; namely, to gain political mileage for their cause (into which they’re very keen to add the polarized world of football rivalry) and equally to demonise the opposition support (i.e. Rangers). For reference purposes the MSPs actively involved this time were (but not limited to) the SNP's Julie McKenzie and Peter Grant and the SNP's Green party stooge Patrick Harvie. Additionally we have reporters (Martin Hannan of the National, the political newspaper) using platforms like BBC Scotland and a discussion on Jamie Carragher's abhorrent behaviour to crowbar Rangers into the narrative. It’s nauseating. Social media will provide us with ample evidence that similar actions were carried out by both Rangers and Celtic fans over the weekend, as they are at every match. If it's out of order then condemn it, absolutely. Yet these elected and well-paid politicians choose to highlight one and ignore the other. This is sowing further divisions into a world they claim is already toxic and divided, a world they’ll claim they want to heal, whilst in reality the opposite is true. It won’t be a surprise to know that the most vocal politicians are no friends of Rangers and have a history denouncing the club and attempting to drag it into their divisive politics - as above, bigoted actions are often further-reaching and longer lasting than ill-chosen words. And so much for winning people over. The media are reverting to a similar template as well. The clear message is that Rangers are bad, where stories are selected and given exposure, where the converse is ignored and sectarian or unacceptable behaviour by Celtic fans (abuse aimed at Rangers players) is knowingly ignored. The unacceptable abuse of Celtic player Scott Sinclair (1) was rushed to the front page of the Daily Record, whilst it took considerable time for video footage of Russell Martin being subjected to overt sectarian abuse and intimidation (2) to be added to the same paper's website, and only then after apparently been widely highlighted to them by Rangers fans on social media. The Scotsman had managed to interview and report on an ex-Celtic player's view about the Sinclair incident but at time of writing they were obviously not too bothered about certifiable abuse going the other way. On top of a trend of similar episodes this suggests to me bias and agendas are being played out in the general press as well i.e. something other than the news is driving the news. This isn’t to say the odd story doesn’t get exposed, some incidents are too bad to be ignored even if carried out by Celtic fans; however, in sheer numbers there is simply a lack of balance which doesn’t reflect reality. It can be argued what the cause of this is (agenda, politics, what sells papers or Rangers simply being an easy target with a club that often doesn't fight its corner) but it seems fairly obvious to me its happening. Of course, the media also love politicians weighing as it gives the story some gravitas and a sheen of respectability (where, as mentioned above, we know in most cases that not remotely deserved). The other common hook used is to quote Nil By Mouth - a well-funded government charity. I don’t always agree with NBM nor think that all of their work is pragmatic or realistic but credit where it’s due, they have a fairly sound message and apply it consistently. Their recent initiative (3) was a welcome break from pompous journalists pushing for jail-terms and closed stands under the banner of doing society a favour whilst their tribal peers fight and riot in between running a recruitment drive for proscribed terrorist organisations. Maybe if a similar approach had been adopted 20 years ago then we’d all be in a better place? Now here is my issue, if the media are using NBM's comments and applying them unevenly, or maliciously, then isn’t that an issue in itself? I would consider this to be a point for NBM to recognise and definitely something to comment on and discourage. I have asked NBM to comment on media and political responsibilities several times and while they have many well-formed and well-meaning views they stop short of conceding an imbalance or acknowledging the game is too often being used for political mileage. I have an admittedly polarised view on football matters, I do get a lot of my news through a blue coloured filter, but I don’t consider myself too entrenched to recognise a bigger picture. Maybe if press and politicians held themselves to better standards then the average man in the street would have a better example to follow. Or alternatively, despite knowing what’s right and wrong, if people who should know better can’t act without prejudice then why should your average football fan? Unfortunately, like most of episodes it boils down to basic fairness and hypocrisy. The Old Firm rivalry can be a fantastic spectacle, it's loud, raucous and usually politically incorrect but should be enjoyed as that. I don’t think it’s either possible or necessary to completely sanitise it. Better to be open and honest about things and just reinforce the message that outside the cauldron then people have a duty to behave with respect. In my opinion, walls of division exist across Scotland outwith the fixture and these are what should be worked on. Some of these involve the physical separation of communities and some of them are virtual walls thrown up by politicians, leaders and the media to serve their agenda. The division inherit in a football rivalry cannot be removed during the contest but it should be recognised as trivial in the larger scheme of things. But one thing is for certain, it should not be used as a truck for some to throw their political baggage on. I know plenty of Rangers fans who are on both sides of the Indy debate. I for one won’t be lectured on which football team I should support or who I should vote for. Rangers is first and foremost a football club and embraces all colours and creeds. If people don’t like that philosophy then they are the ones with the problem and they don’t understand the sporting origins of our club. I support the club set up by the founding fathers and I don’t recall any great political statements they made. It’s Rangers, it’s blue and it’s Ibrox. Nothing more needs to be said.

I find these threads depressing. When Gersnet did an unscientific poll of members voting intentions around the referendum I seem to recall is showed around 40% planned to vote 'Yes', so pretty close to how the vote actually went. That should come as a surprise to no one. Rangers supporters are a broad church, from all walks of life, backgrounds and beliefs. The only thing we have in common is wanting the team in blue to win, that's it. If anyone doesn't know many Rangers supporters who also currently support the SNP I'm very surprised. I know lots and they seem perfectly capable of holding both views without any problem. One reason it's depressing is we used to have the same debate when Labour ruled in Scotland. Posters on various forums moaned about how Scottish Labour was anti-Rangers, how all councillors were Tims and all MSPs out to get us. I'll be frank I personally feel I've more in common with the SNP than with Vanguard Bears, and I didn't even vote SNP at the last couple of elections. That's just me, others will feel very different. That's fine too. Rangers takes up a disproportionate amount of my time and interest. I'm interested in the culture around Rangers and our support, it's been interesting watching how Scottish society has changed in the last 40 years. But other Rangers supporters don't define who I am, what I believe in, hope for or expect from my politicians. Rangers, and our support, have an image problem with some in our society. That section who work in the media and many who enter politics, who often hold 'popular liberal' views, who subscribe to much of what we currently see as 'opinion' in the media are not attracted by Union flags, 90 minute bigotry, and apparently (often wrongly ascribed) right wing views. That's how some see us. Whether we like it or not they control communication and shape popular culture. That's a problem for the club going forward.

Can someone please point out any specific area SNP policy that is Anti-Rangers??? The comments etc mention in the original article are attributed to specific people and are not representative of SNP policy. The main issue is that their comments etc were made from their "work" accounts rather than personal one. and for the record, I don't buy into all the Britishness shite...the union flags, one great nation etc. I don't agree that Rangers are a British club - there is no British football association, never has been. Rangers are Scottish - always has been, always will be...in the eyes of EUFA/FIFA, Scotland is a completely separate entity to England - There is no British!!! By all means be Royalist, and support the Queen....but that is a different thing completely. I am also a fully paid up member of the SNP, and avid supporter of full Independence for Scotland - both of which have absolutely no bearing on which football team I support. Now there appears to folk on here telling me that I shouldn't be able to support Rangers, due to also wanting what is best for my country. Politics should play absolutely ZERO part of supporting a football team!!!

Viewing the world - including politics - down football lines is a bit silly. Why would the snp - or any political party - align themselves for or against such a narrow, insignificant substrata of the population? There is easier votes to win than appealing to football prejudices.

I think this thread just demonstrates why football and politics just shouldn't mix. Whether you understand it, agree with it, or not, the simple fact is that our politics do not determine the team we support and vice versa. For some people, a link is created between the two that just doesn't exist for many others (including me). I've voted for many different parties over the years, depending on their policies. I have however supported the same team since I was old enough to say Rangers. There is nothing connecting the two things for me.

I’ve got no problem with people choosing independence although I disagree with it. I have a problem with people who continue to vote SNP whilst a large number of them openly vilify our support in public unfairly.

So the SNP ONLY do things that are SNP policy? The SNP do and say things that are not part of official policy all the time, as do every political party. To try and excuse the attacks on our club by saying it's not policy is pretty feeble. It's just coming across as an excuse for you not do anything about it and just stick your head in the sand as the attacks continue. Oh, and it's definitely representative of the SNP. Try telling your MPs and MSPs that politics shouldn't be brought into football. They're the ones who are making an issue of our club.

I didn't agree with the unauthorised march, the use of the F word or the threats of physical violence on the leaflet, but I really can't get too excited by the use of the ultra style face-masks. It's maybe not the cleverest thing to have done but it's very low down the scale of things in my opinion. You obviously have different views, which is fine, but I hardly think I've got serious issues because I disagree with you on this point

We can mess around with legal arguments all day long and for years. The club have the power to protect our fans inside the stadium. Show leadership and exert authority. We are doing nothing. Absolutely nothing. I said before if one of these things gets thrown into the directors box do we seriously think they would say or do nothing? It is contempt of our fans and 1872 should get involved. Our fans have done more than anyone to keep this club going and are being treated like second class citizens not just by celtic fans but even worse by our own board.

Celtic fans aren't a narrow insignificant substrata of the population, and it is easy to gain votes on it due to the lack of resistance from our side. Going back to a point above, your political party and your football team may not be mutually exclusive but you have to wonder how people can vote for a party that hates your football team and only wants to do damage to them?

I think that is what I am trying to say! Murty has done a great job, he is intelligent, a good coach. I think most fans are concerned with his lack of subs being used earlier, while I agree with that not many managers are much better. He brought in Jimmy Nicholl as an experienced man to help him, is Jimmy telling him to make early subs as well?. We are still a work in progress and we need stability.

The article omits the fact that SNP Depute Leader candidate James Dornan accused the Rangers captain of being a "grass". The club should be approaching the SNP for a public apology.

I was referring to FS's post and clarifying it for Walterbear. As for bringing politics into it, are we meant to just sit back and accept the captain of our great football club being abused by a politician? Why can't we criticise him and his party who will take no action against him? I'll defend our club against politicians of any party where it's warranted. I've corresponded with the leader of my party of choice where there was unfair criticism. It just so happens that there have been numerous attacks on us over the recent past from one party in particular. Publicly criticising that party or their MSPs or councillors doesn't make that party's supporters any less nationalistic. I'd have thought that they'd want to improve their party. I just don't get the attitude of "let's ignore unfair criticism because it's political" or "it's my party that are making unfair criticism so I'll defend them rather than my club".

Anybody ever seen an SNP MP or MSP out themselves as a Rangers fan? They view us as one of the last remaining pillars of Unionism in Scotland and as is their raison d'etre want to knock us down.

I can't get my head around Rangers fans being members of the SNP, when they can see with their own eyes the openly hostile and anti-Rangers agenda. Not only that but the SNP have without a shadow of doubt gone down the Sinn Fein route of belligerent Brit bashing, gathering to their poisonous breast the Republican terrorist, British citizen murdering psychopaths, who see our club and support as a legitimate target, as they do in Northern Ireland with the PUL community. For their goal of a United Ireland, but in Scotland they use their political agitation and hatred to secure a breakaway for an Independent Scotland and the breakup of the Uk. Little regard for Scotland as it's not their first love, merely a route to an end for them. For me any Rangers fan supporting the SNP in this current culture of British, Unionist bashing, would be better off joining the Green Brigade, Sinn Fein or the IRA, because they have clearly more in common with them now, than any Rangers supporters i know, which i would say is the vast majority of us. Out of courtesy to this forum i will leave this here and remove myself from the thread, other than to say until things change for the better, i will look on any SNP Rangers supporters as i would any Tim or Green Brigade element, with disgust.

I'm not a random person from around the world. I'm just a football fan who knows a (very) little about ultra culture and as such I don't find it sinister. My view on whether I find it sinister or not has nothing to do with Joe Average of Tulsa. It doesn't mean that I'd prefer that they didn't do it, as I've said. If you think that I've got serious problems because of that, and because I disagree with you on that then fine.

Should we REALLY be basing Murty's future on whether he beats Ceptic this season or not??? His record against them ain't that bad - played 3, lost 1, drawn 2. What happens if we get A.N Other big name manager/coach in next season, and gets beat in the 1st OF game of the season - sack him?? I think it is clear to everyone that what Murty (& Allen) have achieved so far is pretty damned good....the team are playing considerable better than they have for a while, we are winning games and we're causing the opposition all sorts of problems. It's also highly likely that we will finish in 2nd this season, with not a massive gap between us & them. Look at the teams performances in the last 2 OF games....the last one, we were the better team overall & they were lucky to get a draw. The last one, we gave them a right good game, and got in front of them twice, with several excellent chances to increase our goal tally. IF Murty is to be offered the job, I wouldn't offer it on a long term basis - annual rolling deal would be ideal.

Rangers aren’t a British club? Yes they are. We are from Britain. There’s no denying that. I’m not a rampant Unionist but I am definitely pro-Union and there’s no denying that Rangers, as a club, is proud of its Unionist character. I don’t know if you’ve noticed the many Union Flags around the ground (as well as Scottish which I absolutely love) and the singing of Rule Brittania? Politics should play no part in football but in recent times (and the past) politics has forced itself into football. Again, I don’t know if you’ve noticed but our club and fans are constantly under verbal attack from newspapers (which have political agendas) and directly from politicians, especially from one party and historically from another. There is absolutely no denying that. The SNP seem happy to be slowly aligning themselves with an Irish Republican party and Rangers are always going to be an easy target to gain votes from those that are happy to see us being attacked.

From their side, there lots of benefits from involving us in their politics. Dividing our support is another one that can be added to point scoring, entrenching their voters, damaging our brand etc...

if the group of young lads had not been wearing IRA type ski masks and paramilitary jackets, and the flyer beforehand..... there wouldn't have been a problem. It was our open goal.....learn from it.

However I'd be expecting those members of that party to be kicking up a fuss about it and complaining....which doesn't happen.

This, mostly. We look like a team that's being coached properly and, for the most part, more than the sum of its parts. Whether he should get it depends slightly on the alternatives available but, in the absence of Dave King learning to keech diamonds, we're looking at steady progress rather than overhaul and he seems like he might well-suited to that.

The Founders Trail was formed in the summer of 2009 when we took a group on a walking tour of Glasgow visiting a few sites relating to our Founders that our research had unearthed….this was to crumble in spectacular fashion when a refreshment break was had at a West End Pub! We took a logical step forward and the first Trail by bus took to the streets of Glasgow in the November of 2009,we then approached the Club in early 2010 and the Stadium Tour was added to our day. In 2010 we operated a total of three Founders Trails , 2017 saw this escalate to an incredible 27! The Tours continue to sell out weeks in advance. Since 2010 we’ve taken almost 7,000 people around on the Trail and through the front doors of Ibrox for the Stadium Tour,many for the first time. We’ve met an incredible array of characters and become friends with people all over the country, the Rangers Family is spread far and wide! An increasing amount of our Supporters Clubs are booking the Founders Trail which is extremely important as it’s vital that the education process that drives the project reaches as many people as possible.It’s today’s youngsters who will take our story forward. Many Charities have benefitted from the Founders Trail including The Beatson, Yorkhill, Erskine Hospital and Poppy Scotland. Our Board of Directors took the Founders Trail with us in November 2016 as did 32 Ibrox office staff in January of 2017. We have a close relationship with the Rangers Youth Development Company which we support by buying Stadium Bricks, these are used as prizes for our now legendary raffle which we hold during the Trail. Match tickets are also purchased for this purpose which again is our way of putting your money back into the Club. Since 2009 the Founders Trail has generated for the Club over £60,000 in revenue from our sales of Stadium Tours. The media team at the Club have assisted the project greatly by regularly posting updates on the Club website, the Founders Trail advert is a feature on the screens at Ibrox. The Founders Trail Roadshow was launched in 2014 which has seen us take our wonderful story out to supporters clubs, lodges and organisations all around the country from Harthill to Belfast and Campbeltown to Thringstone.These events let us deliver our story to those who perhaps can’t come to Glasgow due to time constraint and cost. Many Clubs use the Presentation evenings as a fund-raising event. We have many presentation events booked for 2018 that include Plymouth and Fraserburgh. We have also made great progress with the Restoration of Rangers Graves Project. Tough one! what any off us think won't matter. If you step back from the result against the scum we have improved big time, Murty seems to also be getting the best out of the players who were already here , he has also had a good January transfer window and has us playing the kind of football we all want to see he has also had a good January transfer window. He is learning as well. I am glad we never got McInnes from the sheep,£1m + was what was spoken about to get him from the sheep. I can't think of any manager I would want to take the Rangers job? but then I don't watch much football other than Rangers! I don't see many names flying about either. Should he get the job full time? I personally think he is doing well, he has a good relationship with the players & DOF, will a new manager have the same? if we win the Scottish cup and finish the league in a comfortable 2nd place he might get it? if we don't win the cup I am not sure?.

Club 1872, and the football club have such a challenge on their hands. It's incredible that we all have the same objective - to make Rangers the best again - and yet we seem to be able to agree on very little in terms of how we get there. There are major differences of opinion on the manager, the players, the board, fans' behaviour, opposing fans' seating allocations, and the list goes on. I don't have a solution, but I'm just reflecting on how hard it must be for these organisations to represent the fans and do what the fans want, or what is best for the club. It's always tempting to react to what the noisiest fans want, but that's not always how the majority feel. Having said all this, I'm sure that every fan wants assurances that they can attend Ibrox safely. I think we're united in that statement. The club has a duty to take on board that simple premise and offer us assurances and a solution to that problem. I'll expect a statement from the club at some point when they've assessed their options, but not before, unless it's a simple acknowledgement of the problem.

I think what is being suggested is not to blame them but that club 1872 are lobbied to ask the board what they are doing about an issue which is bothering lots of fans who they represent. Others may lobby to maintain celtics fans at Ibrox but recent events have moved this on from a dislike at the over prominence they have in our stadium to genuine concern about escalating trouble at Ibrox which the police and stewards seem unable to control. I would imagine it is within 1872 remit to inform the Board of fan concerns and challenge their efficacy in managing the problem. The guy organising the petition was affected by one of these firecrackers and has been to his doctor suffering from hearing problems. I personally dint mind these things going off as they add to the atmosphere in my opinion but lobbying them into a group of people is more than a step to far. It is reason alone to restrict their allocation significantly. The risk of escalating trouble was pointed out to the Board and this has now manifested itself in serious incidents. I am am totally baffled that anyone would object to robust measures being taken to protect our own fans. I am more baffled that they would accept their own ticket at the piggery as an acceptable trade off.

I'm not trying to take anything from you, why would I? I'm merely pointing out the SNP see us as one of the last pillars of Unionism in Scotland which in itself should be pretty clear to anyone.

You can't be Scottish and not British. Sorry but the SNP are just masters of manipulation. Lift the lid on any of their doings and you find hollow lies. Reduced rates for small businesses was just the privatisation of our water with increases in small business rates as two bills replaced the one. Free education is great I benefitted from it myself but the truth is universities now acting as commercial interests prioritise foreign students over our own for the extra income. Instead of our students benefiting from foreign investment we are being marganalised and excluded all with the silent backing of the SNP. Scottish lectureers even in subjects like engineering our core expertise are becoming rare and unwanted. Programs are being eradicated because they would only be available for Saas students and being replaced with foreign incentive based programs unsuitable to saas funding. The NHS Scotland well that speaks for itself. Shorten waiting times by cancelling appointments before deadline and reissuing appointments resetting issue date is typical SNP brinkmanship. The covering of Glasgow sepa and it's falsified toxicology reports leaving people unbeknown of what lurks beneath their homes all with the full knowledge of the first minister. The absolute shambles of the flagship SNP funded viridor plant at aikenhead Rd with a £200m black hole and basically a plant that so far doesn't work. Even though similar plants have been in existence for decades. The Italian equivalent costing just £11m. Ours is at plus £250m and still growing. And still not seeing much decommissioning of redundant oil fields. What's the bill for that and who is paying it? Will give them the recent marine renewables and climate change 2009 bill. Which looks to be doing well and out performing other European nations efforts. My own personal opinion is the independence movement is out of the parties control and being led by anti British movements at zero thought to what is best for the people of Scotland.

Let's see, we had a crowd of 50K+ at the game. Take off the opposition allocation and we're left with 43K+. We have a group of fans, mostly young and energetic, deciding to march to the game as a unit. Why did they do it? They are walking the same streets as thousands of other fans do in getting to Ibrox. Why not just make your way there in smaller groups? Maybe they have a point to prove. Maybe they feel that their team can finally beat today's opposition and they want to show the world that they are feeling good. Solidarity of the tribe etc. They issue a flyer which is less than the normal standard of good taste. They don't care, they're young and invincible and how often will they get the chance to finally have a win against this opposition. The police have spoken to them about creating any trouble and what the consequences will be, but they go ahead any way. According to the many pictures taken by the media and videos taken by the fans we could probably guess the marchers numbered around 500. The police formed a line at both the front of the march and at the rear. They did not ringfence the march in the same fashion as they did when a similar group of Rangers' fans marched to Celtic park last year. From these same pictures and videos it could be assessed that the great majority of the group wore dark clothing(it was rather crisp and coolish), also that about 30 at the front of the march were wearing some kind of face covering with a few more back from them. Maybe 40 in all. We might presume this was because the police were filming the group's occupants.( n.b. some supporters of various clubs do this for the same reason inside grounds). So, we might surmise that possibly 0.1% of the crowd attending the game on Sunday walked to the game for a short while with their faces covered in some way. How should we view this revelation? Should we, as Rangers' supporters, be concerned that the club's reputation will be forever sullied because of this tiny minority's actions, or should we perhaps look upon it as youth having an occasional fling? Maybe we should check to see if there was any violent, riotous, depraved, crazed or other such behaviours that breached the laws of the land and just how many people were worthy of being arrested? Brother supporters, the decision is yours.

Why should he??? I think many of those that have worn the arm band since Waldo has been out have done so very well. I thought Tav in recent weeks has done a great job. Personally, I've always felt that Waldo is too quiet a person to be effective....we need someone who will shout & communicate to the other players when required. Wallace's main strength is leading by example, which is not a bad thing, I he needs to be more vocal.

I don’t doubt that you can be royalist and pro-independence. But there is no denying about the Union Jacks and Rule Britannia. Likewise, there is no barrier to being both Scottish and British, which I believe the majority of the suporters feel. As for the not British thing, that is crazy! We are in Britain, hence British! You can be both Scottish and British!! Yes, the club is first and foremost Scottish but at Ibrox you will see just as many, if not more British flags. That’s a simple truth.

Rangers and Scottish nationalism should not be connected. I think the para military style antics by this UB segment should be condemned by all but I wouldn't vote for Scottish independence. I was out of the country at the time but I would have voted no. It's no use saying these clowns caused no trouble when surrounded by a cordon of police. Causing no trouble when there is a cop for every handful of them? That's to be commended? How much trouble would there be anywhere in the country if we had 10 million cops on the streets?

I was impressed at one point after Caixinha left when questioned about his future he said I signed for the club not for Pedro Caixinha. And he does seem settled, happy, and gets what playing for Rangers is about.

A disgusting thing to do but everybody is human the more worrying aspect is the reckless father driving with a child on board and filming the incident on his phone,his windows are wide open,no doubt so he can hurl his insults,presumably allowing him clearer filming. In my view a responsible family man(Carragher) is being pilloried more than a person flouting the law(car driver) but this seems par for the course in these days with all these abhorrent sites like Facebook & Twitter. Carragher seemingly suspended so hope the driver is similarly dealt with even if it is just to put him off the road.

I'm tempted to say membership of any political party should be no bar to supporting Rangers, but I can't. I'm ashamed that some of the lunatics supporting racists like Britain First are in our support.

Congratulations to Ian & Gordon on the "Centenary" it is a grand achievement. Having partaken of the tour,and probably in that photo of July 2016,I would highly recommend that those able to do so to go on one . As well as an interesting tour it is also a great day out.
