I agree but why Morelos was ditched instead of Windass is a mystery to me. Morelos was excellent and Windass very poor.5 points

Docherty, Goss, Morelos/Cummings and Windass all offer a threat in the middle too.3 points

We did play very well today (5 or 10mins aside in the first half) and the only blot on the copy book was not scoring 6 or 7 goals instead of just the two. I thought most of the team played very well but Candeias (and Murphy for the first 60mins or so) stood out with their hard work and creative quality. Docherty felt his way into the game but there's no doubt he has what it takes and once again Goss was quality (and mixed it well in the tackle too). A great win and I just hope the weather holds so we can put St Johnstone to the sword before the snow arrives in midweek.3 points

We have this problem with players over the long-term too: when they don't do anything in 1-2 games, they're 'shite', we want them out; that's too soon. It's taken Windass a season to get into this goal-scoring form. Most would've had Tavernier sold after 2 games; he's now arguably our best player. Patience.3 points

I dont know hot you van say windas usual is to be anonymous. Inconsistent sure but hes as likely to be dangerous and damaging as anonymous. The facts prove that.3 points

Big win today, well deserved win, Candieas my MOTM, if Windass had his scoring boots on we would have won 4/5 to 03 points

We actually look more and more , week by week like a proper football team , great credit to the management , top to bottom3 points

Thought he had a really good game today. Reminded me of Stuart McCall box to box and can tackle. Also he’s not afraid to speak out, saw him give verbals to both Martin and Morelos. Think we have won a watch here.2 points

Last-16 draw in full Lazio v Dynamo Kiev RB Leipzig v Zenit St Petersburg Atletico Madrid v Lokomotiv Moscow CSKA v Lyon Marseille v Athletic Bilbao Sporting Lisbon v Viktoria Plzen Borussia Dortmund v FC Salzburg Milan v Arsenal Some interesting ties, and, let's face it, rasellik really don't belong in such company. Do they?2 points

Our attacking play is great and will get even better when get more clinical in front of goal. We should have been six up by the final whistle if Windass had took his chances alone. Never mind the chances squandered by others, but being fair as always i thought the Heart goalie had a great game, he kept them in the game up till we scored our second. Hearts weren't up to our pace today, they prefered to go long to Lafferty, nearly worked on a couple of occasions, but he plays it so fine at times he was getting caught offside, the strike he had was a peach but Big Ford was his equal with the save. We really are getting it together now, so many players comfortable on the ball, the lad Goss i took to calling him the Ghost, he glides about and just pops up in positions to carry the ball forward with the minimum effort but always effective. Murphy again sublime imo, his goal i thought he was trying to beat every Hearts player before shooting, like fifty thousand other i was shouting SHOOOOOT. Great team performance, Docherty and Candeias where outstanding, Candeias just shaving it for me for MOTM.2 points

Best performance of the season for me and at a time we were demanding it. Well done the team and Murty. They looked up for it today and nice to see teams starting to fear us2 points

The table's looking a lot nicer. If only we'd taken an extra few points earlier in the season...2 points

Windass was anonymous the first half, but the second half he was everywhere. He just couldn't score; it just wasn't his day. This is our problem: we want him shafted after 20 minutes, then for him to score goals and create dangerous chances. He was poor first-half, but he was at the heart of every decent move in the second.2 points

The Hearts keeper was outstanding today he pulled off some great saves.2 points

I disagree slightly; for example, if we required 1 point to win the League, then that game would be a 'must not lose', and a win, while preferable would not be essential. I have to say, also, that I have seen some piss poor Rangers sides, on poor runs of form, to make matters worse, and all that I looked for were signs of life, indications that improvement was a possibility, and where performance outweighed result. Dark days, indeed. On the whole, however, I take your point. For this weekend, I wish: Rangers to beat the Hertz, ken, by 4 - 0, although i suppose any margin of victory will suffice. Scotland to win the Calcutta Cup, scoring at least 1 try, and the margin of victory be damned. A clogfest @the sheepfold tomorrow, ending in a draw; many injuries to both sides, with those to the better players the more serious; a plethora of cards, many yellows, and at least 2 reds, the majority for fhilth players; fighting between the coaching and ancillary staff of the teams; fighting between the rival supporters; Brenda Brent speaking in tongues at the post match presser; Dermot Desmond asking Brenda if he is -actually- a Rangers' man; rasellik's team bus getting stranded in a blizzard overnight; Peter lawwell being caught in bed with a live man or a dead woman; or both. Not much to ask from Messrs Carlsberg, is it? If I was really pressed, I might consider sacrificing the Calcutta Cup.......No, on reflection, a defeat for Sodom and Begorrah FC, rather than a draw, is as far as I am prepared to go.2 points

All the more galling at how we have missed opportunities to put them under pressure with silly defeats at home. They clearly got the new manager bounce when Rodgers came in - but they are, mostly, the same dross that we beat in the SC semi-final a couple of years ago - and we have, IMHO, considerably improved since that time.2 points

He has still to impress me against substantial opposition in my book. Hibs, Hearts, C****c and for the most part Sheep at home he has been below expectation. Add to that his disappearance v Motherwell in semi when it got rough. If you want to champion his ability to score against what most would describe as lesser opposition, I can’t argue. He has performed exceptionally well at smaller grounds and weaker opposition.1 point

Another wee stat, we had 24 shots today, more than any other home game this season (even the 6-0 vs Dunfermline). That tells its its own story. To get 24 shots against a side who had conceded 7 less than us before today shows we’re a much improved team with the new signings. Celtic managed 17 shots against them at Parkhead 3 weeks ago. We still have a lot to prove but we do seem to be the most creative team in the league at the moment.1 point

In the same way as the anti-Windass loyal have been subdued after his two hat tricks recently ??? some people just can’t help themselves.1 point

Morelos creates chances for other players. Even if he isn't scoring I think it's always better to have him on the park. Windass has been scoring recently but it was obvious early on that today just wasn't for him. We'd have been doing him a favour to take him off at half time and reassure him he'd get another chance next week.1 point

Great performance and result. Should have been 5 or 6 I suspect the Windass loyal will be more subdued tonight as he was his usual anonymous self. Greg Docherty would have been my MOTM but Murphy was excellent too. Everyone got more than 7/10 today (bar Windass) and a great team performance. Can we do this? 55 is it coming?1 point

Or even before that mate. Murty has caught the Rangers disease - no subs until at least 60 minutes. He put his erse firmly on the line with his late choices. Many a point has been dropped by doing that. In saying that, we're beginning to look like a team.1 point

I thought it was a penalty as soon as I saw it; it's even worse from the replay. The only defence is that it was close; perhaps too close at full speed?1 point

Something nasty in me was kind of hoping that mob got past Zenit the came up against Atletico Madrid so we would see a real pumping. You know something like 7-0. Just me.1 point

We have plenty of Bears making it easy for Celtc-minded individuals to do and say as they please. What hope do we have with things like this when we constantly fight amongst ourselves and vote in politicians who despise Rangers.1 point

Im hoping celtc have to pay him off. A league win for us would cost them. 30 million in payoffs and lost revenue.1 point

Got to remain positive, it is not impossible! mind you the one that would not happen is the bottle merchants the sheep! as you say you can only dream!. Not a bad treble bet though1 point

The excitement about today's game started as soon as I opened my eyes this morning. I hope the players were the same. Theres one thing I'll be looking out for today and I'm sure many of us are the same. We MUST start playing when the whistle goes, and not wait until Hearts score. I can accept us not playing well. I can accept us being outplayed. What I can't acccept is us not being up for the game and starting it with the effort and determination we need to win. So come on Rangers. Start this game strongly and we will do well today.1 point

Putting it that way I will agree with that. Jack really needs learn to walk away from things like that. In saying that in the name of the big Yin. let the one who has never sinned cast the first stone. I am not that person.1 point

Yes and no. Absolutely atrocious by Beaton in that game, he got a lot wrong and ruined the game (especially with Jack’s sending off) but again, we should have avoided the handbags in the aftermath of the tackle on Dorrans. Dorrans is a big boy and can handle himself, as he did that day, we didnt need Jack to come running in to protect him - at least not in that particular situation. Jack didn’t do anything wrong - as we all know or at least nothing worse than Stokes, but why give the referee a decision to make - we know they’re not very good with situations like that. So all I’m saying is that sending off was avoidable and had it not happened we’d have won.1 point
