Exactly what I was saying earlier. Ultimately, it's no use a player (take Miller for example), putting in "a shift" with no practical output or result. We could have 10 guys running about the pitch, busting a gut but not scoring or winning matches - so whats the point??? It's all about end product.

However, RFC 2012 plc has refused to give Rangers FC Group Ltd any cash because it believes it isn’t legally entitled to any money. This has prompted Rangers Group to go to the Court of Session with the hope of persuading a judge there to reverse the decision made by liquidators. Judge Lord Doherty gave permission for RFC 2012 plc to be given the documents, which their lawyers believe will help them defend the case. Lord Doherty added: “I will allow the commission of diligence to take place.” The case will next call sometime in the near future.

Whytes company tried to get money from the company involved in Rangers liquidation. He was asked for proof he was owed money and refused to hand over any paperwork. He lost his claim. He appealed. This court has said, aye you may be owed money. But you'll have to hand over paperwork to support your claim. This will be the last we'll hear of his claim.

See, I don't get this though. We (not you dB, but generally) talk about players having to put a "shift in" to be better, but that, to me at least, has been proven to not necessarily be the case. When Messi broke through at Barcelona he would track back and help defensively - but in the last 2 or 3 years he does virtually nothing defensively and just wanders around the pitch (if you watch him he looks like he is the laziest player to ever have played the game - just walking around doing nothing) but then he gets the ball, or spots a space, and is explosive and devastating. I would argue that if Messi were asked to "put more of a shift in" he would actually be LESS impactful on a game, not more. Putting a shift in and being better are not necessarily correlated - it depends on the player, position and even team-mates. Given Windass has been playing through the middle of late, playing in the "10" I would argue that Windass putting a shift in isn't as important to a Holt or Goss putting a shift in because playing that "10" is about picking up the spaces when in possession AND when not in possession, though applying some pressure to opponents when in the vicinity. Windass is no Messi, that much we obviously know. But playing that "10" position requires common sense, not just a "blood and snotters, up and at em, get in aboot them" mentality.

True, the fans are paying his wages, but fans can't dish out abuse and then go all snowflake when the player being abused gestures back IMO. The guys goals and assists this season have been very important to us.

With "shift" I did not solely mean "running his socks off", but staying "alert and concentrated" for the 90 mins you are out on the pitch too. Here Windass needs to work on himself and that's what Murty has alluded to. Else someone will take the No. 10 role off him soon enough. That's not Windass bashing, solely pointing out what he should focus on.

This is the gist of the nonsense: Fraser Ewing or Ewing Fraser or somebody with Ewing in his name runs Edusport FC in the Lowland League but he wants to convert it into a football club owned by fans, run by fans, for the fans subscribing annually at a fixed rate of £25 per head. Claims 200 members since yesterday’s launch. Didn’t actually say where they would play. Motherwell was mentioned but not necessarily as the venue. Anyway, most of the fans will be online which conjures up an image of an empty stadium so that conforms to at least one criterion of Scottish football. The club will rocket up the leagues and into Europe. A great alternative to Rangers and celtic. I thought there were already a good number of alternatives, all of them rubbish but never mind that. At least the few who support the existing alternatives are loyal to them and I can’t see dozens of Jags, Airdrie, HubzanHertz, Dundee, Raith, etc fans abandoning their allegiances for new entity. White was bubblng with enthusiasm for this great new idea. The other guy was doubtful.

This is just one reason why this is clearly utter nonsense and if the 'reporter' had asked any of these simple questions it would have unravelled quickly. But once again, why let the facts stand in the way of a negative story about Rangers.

It is true what David Edgar said on his Pod yesterday. Windass looks it up on social media it was not on the park he was abused it was on social media. He should not take his fights on social media on to the park because it is probably people who have never seen the inside of Ibrox and could even be tims. Given their addiction to us it most likely is the majority.

If he has been getting abuse then I see no reason why he shouldn't make the gesture. It is highly hypocritical of fans to abuse one of their own players for supposedly inept performances and then get all biscuit-arsed when said player scores a goal and tells them to "Shushhhhh". Why shouldn't he do it ? Because he is a player ? Funny, we have people complaining that Windass has no heart, he then gestures to his own fans, knowing full well there would be backlash, and he gets lambasted again. Josh Windass has become the number 1 whipping boy at Rangers. And people are completely ignoring his contributions of goals, assists and creativity. Many still simply refuse to see that our situation means we aren't in a position to bring in world-beaters and that Windass is actually a very decent option for us. Well, I would contend that those who "give him it ten times as tight now" should take a long, hard look at THEMSELVES. Because giving Windass pelters is almost guaranteed to not have him performing optimally - those same fans will give it "well he shouldn't have gestured".... and I would ask them if they want to see a successful Rangers team or not - because if the answer is YES then Windass (and all other Rangers players too) should be receiving our backing and support - not our hounding. It's not clever your own fans hounding and abusing your team's players - do they honestly think it will actually improve performances ?? We continually tell players to have a word with themselves - when will the fans do likewise ??? Shooting ourselves in the foot - It has been the Rangers way for many years now, sadly.
