I wont be voting for it, on exactly those grounds. C1872 should be looking at more than just safe standing and offering alternatives for any excess funds that may be available. Shouldn't be a simple "vote yes/no for safe standing" - should be a vote for : 1. Safe standing 2. Improving disabled facilities 3. Retaining excess cash for share issues Point being - it shouldn't be a "take it or leave it" vote. There is more than one thing that could be improved at the Club and I don't believe C1872 should offer up a vote with only 1 suggestion. IMHO of course.

Surely nobody believes singing the Billy boys is a part of the Rangers Heritage. It is a good anthem and it does get the crowd going and I personally like hearing it but to say it is a part of our heritage is pushing the boat out a little. Get rid of the fenian blood and it can be sung again without fear of arrest. Whether rightly or wrongly.

Sensible deal - on loan first to see if he is good enough to buy. Quite interesting signings in January then, Murphy, Cummings and Goss. The first thing Id imagine is they will give 100% and know what the league is like rather than Pena and Herrera.

I think Cummings is a decent addition. For those moaning that the players wouldn’t get into the Celtic team, I don’t think they’d be far off. They aren’t anywhere near as good as the press makes them put to be. None of them are stick out players for me and I don’t think with a bit of development and good management, some of the players we’ve got can’t be better than them. Maybe I’m just being over-optimistic though.

It's true that nothing beats "Hullo Hullo" being belted out by 40k fans. What is also true is that football authorities at home & abroad believe it to be unacceptable to sing. That being the case, why not just change the words - remove the parts that the authorities deem to be offensive. If nothing "offensive" is being sung, folk can try & complain, but ultimately there is nothing to complain about..... Remove any religious connotations & make it about The Club....

Now that the new software is in place we have been talking in the background for some time now about trying to put a Gersnet Podcast together. I would have thought that to, however im sure Brenda is a bit of a bottler if the chips are down, a couple of bad results and they could crumble, especially if someone like Brown got injured, they are riding the crest of a positive PR wave, the SMSM think they can do no wrong. I think everyone knows how to set up against them now as well, more teams will have a go, im more worried about our consistency, we can't seem to string together results, however with the players we have added I think we will have a good second half of the season, plus we will have guys coming back from injury as well.

I think the fact that we stayed at the IMG academy in florida was a signal of the work/influence of AJ, if not the invite to go over there in the first place... Encouraging, but we've heard rumours of investment from ITK people before - e.g. the HK bears. I actually quite like Cardoso. He is still young and the fickle fans were lauding him at the start of the season but a few poor games and a long injury has harshly went against him. I still think he can be an important player.
