Tony Bloom makes offer for 29% of Hearts
buster. replied to BEARGER's topic in General Football Chat
Strange but Lawwell the businessman will actually want us to improve and provide competition. When we were in the lower leagues, they closed the top tier of their stadium. Both us and them need each other to exist. Much better if the provincial clubs could put up a sustained fight. Given the financial gap, a Big ask. -
Saddens me that we don't even have a young player up for any award
-
That’s the correct answer to the next question.

A very good manager is worth 3 or 4. Disclaimer: That may become 0 once the bounce has finished
-
nope i want a league were any of half a dozen can win it domination by one club is a total bore
-

Do we actually know who is giving up their shares or an inclination through various sources? Obviously, DK is keeping his stake by the looks of it.
-
Basically, our recruitment would have to be very good and their recruitment, poor. Value for money is key. They spent 20M on 2 players a year ago and have got little in return. I reckon they are going to hit a bad patch in the next year or so, transition. If we could use next season to lay foundations, it may pay dividends.

I've rephrased that for you compo. -
According to King we need 'A lot more than two or three players' to be competitive . I presume then this was something that was highlighted during the takeover talks. How many is a lot more than 2 or three ?

Rangers takeover: Deal agreed in principle
Devil's advocaat replied to Uilleam's topic in Rangers Chat
I'd disagree chum, it's been bloody quick compared to most takeovers. -
Keith Jackson who has been ITK regarding parts of the takeover story said middle to end of April for completion at one point. Then it became end of May. Now DK says mid June. No big drama, but it is dragging on a bit. The bit about a "90%" chance of going through was slightly surprising. Although it seemed like a number plucked from the air and might not actually mean much. We need a new manager appointed before June.

Had any of those four been at Rangers, they wouldn't have got the game time to develop as they have.
-
Nobody from our much vaunted Auchenhowie.

Callum McGregor has also been nominated for the Scottish Football Writers' Association Referee of the Year award.

The Famous RFC, Hopefully, this picture is the true meaning of friendship and kindness brought together by the love of our famous football club, This is indeed why Rangers are a family club! I've managed to compromise a playlist of songs I originally had and ones I didn't have. We got told when my son was older from a “ Health profession” the reason why my son Finely doesn't speak is because my wife didn't attend the lessons with the speech and language therapist 😱 needless to say that individual was told to address her own practices in which she obviously spouts to others, a written apology and a shake-up of the whole philosophy they teach to parents.

If I'm not mistaken that's the tune from "The Wild Colonial Boy."
-
The Archie Knox channel has a ton of Rangers songs from the old days, btw.

The Legend of Alan Morton He was a proud young Airdrie lad, Alan Morton was his name. He played for Glasgow Rangers, the left wing was his game. The Ibrox crowd, we loved him so, we cheered him loud and long. And every time he scored a goal, we sang him ‘Follow on.’ And every time he scored a goal, we sang him ‘Follow on.’ Now Alan played his heart away in the Rangers’ Royal Blue. And then one famous Saturday, in Scotland’s darker hue, Young Alan laid the English low, the legend it was born, And every time he scored a goal, we sang him ‘Follow on' And every time he scored a goal, we sang him ‘Follow on.’ At least that is the story my father told to me, He said ‘My son when you’re a man, will you do one thing for me, Each Saturday down Ibrox way, though Alan’s dead and gone, Every time the Glasgow Rangers score, will you sing them: ‘Follow on!’ Every time the Glasgow Rangers score, will you sing them: ‘Follow on!’ Every time the Glasgow Rangers score, will you sing them: Follow on!?

Currently at Sheff Wednesday. You realise that, if appointed, he would, probably, bring back Josh Windass.

Maybe King is looking for a position on any new board
