  1. Past hour
  2. Holding the ball up against four or five defenders isn't easy. It's a tough ask. But there's having a good go at it and there's just falling on your arse.
  3. Hold up or lay offs are two different things, as you know. Holding the ball up until you get support, players breaking forward at pace and laying it off is what I am talking about which he did well at.
  4. Today
  5. He worked hard, can't fault him for that. The main issue is his ability to hold the ball up - he really isn't very good at that. I think he's actually quite good at assists/lay-offs and his conversation rate is sometimes good/sometimes bad.
  6. The beauty of football, I thought he was excellent!.
  7. Hibs won't play like Malmo did. They'll keep it tight and be well up for it, so it's a different thing entirely. However, they're shite, so we need to beat them.
  8. As good as the performance & result was we have to remember there are a lot more difficult ties ahead in this competition!!!, let's not get carried away!. If we can't build on this and flop on Sunday it is going to infuriate the fans!. I really hope it is a corner turned, but we will see what happens on Sunday!.
  9. Watching Dalkieth and Broxburn the standard is pretty good but great to see fans turn out and pay their money to stand ona grassy embankment these are the people that keep these teams going well done to them .
  10. Their explanation is confusing, maybe it was meant to be! For what it's worth, I thought the 1st one was more a penalty than the 2nd one (both pens though).
  11. If Dessers scored with half of the chances he wastes he’d be a world beater but we’re not to well off in the striker department so his place is safe .
  12. Don't know if I'd say very tight angle, he's 6yds out, about the same wide, so circa 45deg. That still is after he played the ball. I mean it's not ronny rosenthal or Patrick Roberts levels, but it ain't good.
  13. Good interview with Malmo coach post match. Names one Rangers player who his team simply couldn't handle. I'll not ruin the surprise https://www.football-addict.com/en/article/rangers-fc/we-were-torn-apart-malmo-boss-names-one-rangers-star-his-side-simply-could-not-deal-with/66f669caaa9645205b0fa048?utm_campaign=post-auto-article&utm_medium=facebook&utm_source=rangers-addict&date=27_09_2024&fbclid=IwY2xjawFj16JleHRuA2FlbQIxMQABHdldi5BMnFKTtTDYXRfhOph6WH_wquGxQsz8sAb1GecU07UCC3qW0qDNCA_aem_Xhts-2Hp4mV1f4cn4XXxrQ
  14. I believe this is known as ‘marking your own homework’. So you can only really get something wrong if you want to admit to it.
  15. Can't see us dropping our top scorer (by some distance) for a player yet to score at this level in a must win league game. Your "probable" team won't be far off, and neither should it be. At this moment in time, that's our strongest 11 and we need to start playing the same 11 players to get cohesion. If Cortes ever gets fit, he'd be left-side attacker and Bajrami would move to the number 10 role.
