  2. The most important thing, surely, is Barry Ferguson's opinion of 'The Banner'
  3. Don't think we're at the stage where it needs to be Barry yet. Needs to keep winning, see how he handles Europe. For me - with the takeover etc, barring a miracle from Ferguson, I.e beating Bilbao, I'd be aiming higher.
  4. I agree with the banner. Putting my neck on the line for another banning on a Rangers forum.
  5. Football, a historically working-class sport, has been turned into a glossy corporate commodity. The game’s institutions claim to be ‘inclusive’, yet they enforce a strict monoculture, where only certain political and cultural narratives are permitted. Why do so many Rangers supporters want to enforce U.E.F.A.s strict monoculture? Is it that critics of the banner are out of touch with working class culture? (Please state your middle class occupation to disagree)
  6. The banner appeared in the section of the Copland Road Stand where the Union Bears ultras – possibly Rangers’ most passionate fans – tend to gather.

  9. 100% agree Anyone but Palace for me, preferably the Villa whom failing Forest then City.
  10. I wasnt bothered about the first 3 ties, but was hoping Bournemouth would complete a tidy final four. The Nottingham Forest v Man City tie at Wembley is madness especially as its been given the Sunday TV slot. That should be played in the North or the midlands. (Villa Park, Elland Road, Old Trafford, Anfield to name a few) and Palace v Villa could be played at either Spurs, Arsenal or West Ham grounds. Anyone but Man City to win the cup will do me.
  11. City were comfortable winners over all but seem to have lost their collective team purpose possibly associated with the decline of de Bruyne. Wonderful player so “decline” is relative. Roy Keane was angered by the City players’ carefree attitude in the first half. “Strolling about smiling”, he said. I think he was right.
  12. I disagree. Home record grim, and he's been praised for changing things in recent games, but that's only cos he got his tactics so wrong in the first place.
  13. I thought Bournemouth started very well the put pressure on the city players when they had the ball but once city got the equalizer they seemed to lose a little bit of belief in themselves.
  14. Ferguson hasn’t done his CV any harm
  15. Needs to be Barry.
  16. Yeah, winning all the remaining Europa league matches will mean that he is considered.
